Looks like the last OG rocket is gone. :( But as a human being and all things besides bball, I'm happy he got a respectable offer. It was long due for such a consummate hard working individual. I'll be rooting for him in SAC or where ever he goes.

I don't think that Dalembert coming to Houston is a done deal.

Sucks to see him go but good for him, hard worker and a class act. Too much hope invested into unproven players but we'll see.

Oh well, its about the Rockets, not one player. If we get better then its all to the good.
If he's a guy that has to play 30 minutes a game for us to compete than we aren't a contending team. And I love Hayes as a player. But 4 years at 20 mil?. Hell to the no!

    Kinda like the Artest/Ariza swap...

Boy am I ticked off about this. Landry Battier now Hayes. I wish I wasn't so emotionally invested in this team.

We still own the rights to hayesfan right????

what a bummer! chuck made the ginger and other "stars" look average or below average. His defense and leadership will be missed.

I think people are reacting more on emotions than basketball sense similar to the Carl Landry trade. They were both great guys and self made players that you have to respect and cheer for. But the bottom line is they are limited upside players with major deficiencies in their games. I wish Chuck the best, but we need a TRUE center.

I didnt feel like flipping through the pages. So my questions is, has Chuck accepted the offer and he is officially gone, or are we all assuming he is?

Lots of love to the Chuckwagon, very happy he gets to cash in for all the dues he paid.

Glad he goes to the Kings and not to the Lakers or Heat.

It amazes me why the Heat didn't go after him.

Don't they have the full MLE to work with?

    Bosh/Hayes frontcourt would be devastating.

RT @Jonathan_Feigen: Agent Calvin Andrews, still waiting for HOU offer, on odds of Chuck Hayes returning: “He’s close to gone from Houston."
