[Confirmed] Chuck Hayes has 4 year, $20M offer from Sacramento

Nothing to really report on Feign's piece with 610. Didn't mention Hayes at all.

 

If this is true I hope Chuck takes it and has great success with the Kings. He has earned this contract.

 

He deserves 7 mill, if he starts and plays PF...so i guess this is about right to back up the 4/5.

 

Feigen isn't allowed to comment on free agency is he? Since he is employed by the team? That's what I've always thought. Remember when he couldn't comment on the Artest trade it until a certain date where it was "official?"

1. Good for Chuck he deserves it, I'll miss watching him play.
2. Good for Rockets, frees cap space and helps us towards a losing season.

As much as I like Chuck, he isn't getting us to the playoffs, but only helping us be a fringe playoff team, instead of getting to the rebuilding. We already have Hill that can slide and play some backup C, as well as Thabeet if he has a good year, plus Donatas as PF/C next year.

And, for all those fearing Dalembert, I think that would have to be a value play for less years, if we do something like that. I doubt Morey is really trying to sign him to a big contract.

 

Feigen isn't going to know anything, geez. He's always the last to find out anything.

If Chuck sings anywhere else, it's a failure by the Rockets, bottom line. To not sign him and then get nothing out of it means you're not doing your job. You should have traded him like you did Shane.
