    Ubisoft installs a backdoor that allows any website to take over your computer. The Sony BMG rootkit was also DRM and required product recall when it was discovered.

    Doesn't really seem like a rootkit. Just a poorly programmed plugin with an exploit. Sounds like Ubisoft already patched it. Could also just remove the plugin I think.

    Ubisoft does deserve plenty of flak for their DRM and their stance on PC games in general though.
