Look for a file named "normal.dotm" in your system. It's usually in your username's "Application Data" folder. But, yes, uh, click on BetterThanI's link. Are you the only one that logs on to the same PC or do other people log in? Have THEM try to print with the same applications.
I am the only one. and I tried doing this and it does nothing different when printing. Wouldn't there be something else since it won't print on wordpad as well?
Seems like a Microsoft Word problem. Have you tried uninstall/re-install? Also, update your printer driver if you can or roll back the driver if you updated it and try again. It is common for ink to get dry while sitting for long time so shake the cartridge pretty good and re-install and do a deep cleaning of print nozzle or maintenance. Also, if you look in print preview it should show up there and check margins, etc. Try deleting the word data key entry in registry as suggested in link. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826862
