It looks like Auburn might be turning into the team everyone thought they would be back in September right before our eyes. It's just been a quarter and a half, but they've looked competent on both sides of the ball so far.
Good enough to save Kirk Ferentz's job, at least. The short answer is that we can't really be sure, and we won't find out until they get to the Big Ten title game and take on Ohio State or Michigan State. I don't follow Iowa football close enough to be able to tell you about any personnel or schematic changes that have been catalysts (except for CJ Beathard taking over at QB full-time after Jake Rudock's transfer), but their offense has been far more explosive this season. I heard a stat the other day on a podcast that Iowa has more 40+ yard plays this season than they have had in the last several years combined, or something to that effect.
Memphis is in some real trouble, it would appear. As so often happens when you only see a team like theirs once a year at most, they seem to be having trouble stopping Navy's triple option attack.
Just looked and yeah, they have played absolutely nobody, but they've looked reasonably ok playing who they've played.
Unfortunately, Memphis' undefeated season will end this week. I normally root for Navy no matter what but the UH angle came into play tonight.
why do i get the feel ESPN and the media are overhyping Leonard Fornette just so they make more money on articles and ads tearing him down ive seen this movie before
You get that feeling because Fournette is black and you are predisposed to believe in conspiracy theories against anyone black. That was an easy question.
Looks like Nebraska got away with one. I don't think the receiver was pushed out. He did that on his own.
