This week looks like a lot of inner-conference match ups and there are some big ones from each conference. Got a nice SEC matchup with Arkansas and Alabama also.. with the Big 12 -- Oklahoma St. and Texas A&M. ACC also has a good match up with Clemson, who beat Auburn last week, and FSU who lost to Oklahoma last week. The primetime game is WVU and LSU which should also be a good game if WVU is as good as advertised. just bought tickets to the Wisconsin game. tickets for the game against Nebraska the week after is like $300 dollars per now.
Given how Ohio State has been playing, I will not be surprised to see them make Colorado look like an elite team.
let me help you then...so far on the season he's completed 41 passes in 49 attempts for 624 yards, with 8 TD's and 0 INT's. He averages 12.74 yards per attempt. That's in 1 3/4 games, as the game last week was called in the 3rd quarter due to weather. His QB rating is 244.5. Currently, he's: #1 in the nation in completion percentage; #1 in the nation in yards per attempt; #1 in the nation in passer rating. Hope that helps.
That's awesome. It wasn't a slight against anyone, I just wondered why you don't see him throwing the ball in the highlight video if he's a quarterback. I know he can run the ball, but I haven't seem enough Baylor games to really see his arm. Those seem like great stats. I would love to see Baylor do well. I really like Art Briles.
Even I, as an Aggie, have to admit that those are some sick stats (especially taking into consideration that he's played 1 less quarter than everyone else). Griffin looks like he's really decided to develop his passing ability this off-season, and it's paying off now. He's definitely a fun player to watch, and he seems like a genuinely nice guy off the field. I want him to do well....just not when he's playing against us.
^ Exactly. Dude was throwing footballs through tires or something bc his accuracy is noticeably better.
So, when are people going to start calling RG3 a 'system' QB? Seems to be the tag people gave Kolb under Briles, Griffin will probably suffer the same fate. Not saying I agree with it, it's lazy and stupid to do that, but hey, lazy and stupid describes most football fans.
What does playing 1 less quarter have to do with any of those stats? While they are awesome stats, they also favor a player that passes/plays less.
So Ohio got new unis yesterday. Their reaction is hilarious. The reveal is at the 1:10 mark. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hAOfNEBZbE4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm still wondering why they picked WVU-LSU for gameday.. not that that's not a good matchup... but I would've thought with two match ups such as Arkansas and Bama or Texas A&M and Ok. State that they would've gone with one of those.
The game im most interested in is def Ok St vs A&M. 2 top 10 teams with explosive offenses , and see whose D will step up today.
