ON 9 STRAIGHT RUNS! They didn't even try to get a first down. Just dreadful. Not to mention the laughable 7 turnovers. Heck...considering that, it's amazing that it was even a ball game to that point.
Man... I am an Auburn fan, so obviously I'm thrilled with the win, but my goodness... That was one of the more excruciating sports scenarios I've ever seen. Made me feel dirty for getting so excited about the fumble before I knew he was hurt. That game was an instant-classic, but damn that play mars it...
Maybe you're referencing some other game, but given the timestamp on that post, I figure you might be referring to the Utah/ASU game. Crazy that a Utah timeout bailed him out the first time, but then he over-corrected and missed it the other way. Oregon has gone to another level of late, so they've more or less emerged as the best team in the conference, but even if they hadn't, it's not like anyone else in the Pac-12 has stepped up. That conference has become a tangled mess.
There's still hope for Pac12/Big12/Big10/ACC/ND to finish with 1 or no losses and all the SEC teams to finish with 2. I'm rooting for SEC chaos. Florida did their job, Arky was so close to success yesterday.
I'm no Arkansas fan, but I can't help but feel for those guys. They have to be the best team with zero conference wins this late in the season in the history of college football.
