You are kidding right? Tech rarely gets blown out in Lubbock, and I think this game will be closer than you think.

    Tech - 37
    Texas - 31

    Drew,

I see your unemployment has got to your brain. Tech matches up horribly with us, and I would be shocked if they won.

I think UT will blow out Tech. Is one of those teams you can either stop or not stop. The best defenses (UT, OU, OSU this year, etc) can totally shut them down, and I see (and hope) that happening tomorrow.

If we can't shut down the Tech offense, we lose. I don't think we win this one close. But Texas shut down that offense very well last year - it's basically having the athletes to match up with the great Tech scheming, and I think we have it.

I think it'll be a blowout because Mack Brown is pissed about the whole Washington State passing us thing -- which means we'll pile it on if the opportunity arises in an attempt to jump WSU again.

Anybody who thinks that Tech can old Texas to 24 is insane. Their defense is almost as bad as Baylor's.

    Last four games in Lubbock:

    2000 - UT 29, TT 17
    1998 - TT 42, UT 35
    1996 - UT 38, TT 32
    1994 - TT 33, UT 9

I predict high scoring (both teams over 30) and close (less than 10 points).

I don't get how people can become so passionate over college football. I can only get into the Philadelphia Eagles, not college football.

are you in or have you graduated from college yet? if not, than your viewpoint is understandable.

i didn't start following college football until my senior year in high school.

as for the topic of this thread:

    UT-41
    TT-24

    Texas 38
    Tech 23

The guys on Gameday nailed it... Tech will get some yards, but I see them getting stopped in the red zone when there is less room to spread the field.

    A&M 27
    Missouri 24

    Illinois 20
    Ohio State 13

If Ohio State calls plays the way they have all season. If they finally change and start throwing the football downfield, they could score 30.

    LSU 31
    Alabama 17

I don't bet against LSU in big, Saturday night games at Tiger Stadium. LSU's defense is terrific, and Toefield is back for the offense.

    Colorado 35
    Iowa State 13

Chris Brown has another monster day that is totally ignored by the media's lovefest with Ken Dorsey.

    OU 52
    Baylor 10

At home Baylor finds a way to get on the scoreboard. ;)

Replace Chris Simms with Kliff Kingsbury in your sentence, Drewdog, and then you would be correct.

And You'll be popping a cap in your a** after the Longhorns leave lubbock. :)

Well, I guess they drop out of school right after their senior ear bowl games.
