Kuerig at home and at work. At home I usually get the stronger, darker brews like Sumatran Dark. I also like the Brooklyn brand "Fuggetabout" flavor. At work they have weaker brew options, so I usually get French Roast or Donut Shop.
I've been using a French Press for a while after my Keurig bit the dust for a 2nd time. It makes a good cup of coffee, but I want to take it up a notch. What are some other more unique devices that brew a great cup of joe? I'm thinking something like the setup they have in the lab on Breaking Bad, but on a smaller scale. Edit: I think a Siphon coffee maker is what I'm looking for.
Latest craze: Keurig Butter Toffee Add some French Vanilla creamer Add some whole milk to top it off Leave in fridge overnight Best iced/cold coffee on the planet
Well to make up for it I usually have a kolache and/or donuts for breakfast. Sometimes a Pop Tart - a strawberry (fruit, ie healthy) Pop Tart.
See post 2 of this thread. Wakes me up and tastes good. Any coffee will wake me up, so why not have it taste good too?
I like my cofee like I like my women, ground up into dust and kept fresh in the freezer... Wait. I prefer Starbucks Casi Cielo blend. It's only a seasonal blend though.
I just started drinking 1 cup of coffee every morning after reading health & performance benefits and hubby is an avid coffee drinker. I drink 100% colombiano coffee that we get from HEB. I drink it straight black with a packet of stevia. I'm avoiding sugar or dairy so no sugar and half & half in my coffee. Growing up, my parents were coffee addicts and drank that Folgers crap. No wonder why I hated coffee!! Coffee here at work is COMPLETE SUCKAGE. I'm annoyed that I wasn't introduced to finer coffee earlier. :\ Now, I'm interested in experimenting with different flavors. What are your favorites?
I actually tried it a few times before my morning workouts last year. Not too bad...it just didn't sit well with my stomach. Maybe I need to try it one more time now that I drink 1 cup of coffee daily.
Bump. This concoction, or anything like it, is now gross to me. Looking to get a real coffee maker (and grinder). I guess they're all fairly similar quality wise so long as they have quality beans?
I'm actually thinking of going back to a Keurig, even though I've had 2 crap out on me. That convenience is hard to beat.
I grind my own beans for French Press style almost every day. Love the smell of freshly ground Hazelnut and French Roast flavored beans in the morning before school. Easy and fast to clean as well.
lay off the flavored creamers you pansies. that **** is gross. might as well just have a frappachino or whatever those things are called.
