Coach Nick: The Disturbing Disappearance Of KARL ANTHONY TOWNS

Yeah it's pretty bad. Their coach even said when Capela/CP3 switch with Teague/Towns and they get Teague v Capela that's a matchup they like...if he thinks that's the better matchup from that switch you really have to question him.

 

Hey's young. He also needs to get into the gym. And MN needs a different coach.

 

I've maintained that KAT's defense is trash for the last couple years, but the last two games he's matched his offensive effort to his defense lol. Crazy

 

The wolves have pretty bad post passers which allows the Rockets to double team, something I don't see them doing often against most centers. The Rockets have also been very solid at shutting down centers and creating mismatches on offense. KAT is a solid player with a bad offensive coach.

There is a simple explanation to why KAT has regressed from his 20 - 12 play in the regular season to what we've seen in games 1 & 2.

The Rockets Defense.

Everyone wants to lay the poor play at KATs feet - I think a lot more credit needs to go to the Rockets for forcing that poor play.

 

Rockets are magicians that have performed many disappearing acts on opposing players this year. The media are blind to these defensive magic tricks, they simply don’t get it. Maybe they’ll catch on...highly doubtful though.
