I think the Rockets is better off with DA than anyone out there. His old Phoenix team didn't have anyone who can really play defense, so you cannot entirely blame him. We know he will make the Rockets a better offensive team, let's hope they will have the players committed on defense as well.
Best thing about the Rockets hiring D'Antoni. 1. Every member on Clutchfans will be able to score if they played the Rockets. 2. No anxiety about winning a championship. 3. Lottery picks! 4. Cheaper seats to games. 5. Less traffic near Toyota Center. 6. Clutch won't need server upgrades. 7. Pornstache! 8. Not having to stay up late for playoff games. 9. More time to spend with family and friends instead of watching NBA basketball. 10. More money to spend on family and friends instead of buying Rockets merchandise or tickets to games.
In hindsight, I disagree with the defensive comment. He had a lot of athletic, mobile players that he could have molded a defense out of. It would never be a top defense, but could have been, in its own way, an effective one that created havoc. Instead, they were 13th, 16th, 16th, 17th and 24th defensively in Phoenix.
Well, I guess if we are trying to be positive, we'll actually see a set play ran by players in a Rockets uniform. There's my silver lining.
Their top players are Nash & Stoudemire who have always been below average defensive players, with, or without DA. With the Rockets, you have two good perimeter defenders already, just need some good interior D with Howard gone.

Does anyone know anything about Jeff Bzdelik? I see that he worked for Wake Forest and then as an assistant for the Grizzlies but I dont know anything about him. Anyone have thoughts on him?
#1: No expectations. Kind of a relief. #2: Sergio Llull is very possible, but i think Lin is priority #1 for LE$. #3. Dudley finally comes to the Rockets. He's always had nothign but great things to say about the Rockets and it's been clear he's wanted to play here a long time. He will do great podcasts and interviews. #4. Capela and Harrell are very good floor runners and might develop into monsters under D'Antoni. #5. IF were going to lose Harden in 2018 anyway, a D'Anotni failure could mean he demands a trade sooner which helps us get better value in return. Looking at LAL's young players and picks. #6. Possible chase of Demar DeRozan and we'd have a fun high flying team with him and Capela and Harrell. Trade Bev and Ariza to Thibs for LaVine? Yes please. Let's just have fun with it and throw alley oops all game long. #7. We fire D'Antoni after a disaster start to the season and Jeff Bzdelik takes over and actually becomes a great Head Coach.
New rule. You can only post positive things about D'Antoni that are related to events that happened over the past 8 years. 1. Gifted salesman 2. Punchable face
Im not going to watch another Rockets game... Until Oct 31 2016. This is just outrageous and I want everyone to know it. WHO'S WITH ME?!
