Clyde Drexler has got to go...

He already fired Calvin once, brought him back a few weeks later, and admitted his mistake. Fans causing an uproar also helped, from what I remember.

The last time you re-hired Calvin, I think you won your first championship. Just sayin'. :grin:

 

His announcing is bland and boring. We need more flavor! Calvin!

 

Hell at this point I'd take Van Chancellor.

This has been my wish for so long. Calvin Murphy is possibly one of the funniest guys to watch on basketball ever and makes every game entertaining. Please bring him back Rockets organization.

 

I have nba league pass and theyre better than the washington n some other commentators who r so boring. Murphy is better than clyde but theyre homers and funny

 

I hope they already know. I mean how could they not?

I still feel the same way i always have on this subject. Clyde is terrible. Just terrible. Probably the worst sports commentator I've ever seen. Just freaking terrible.

I still say ...bring back Calvin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or put Bull on full time. Anyone but Clyde. Just freaking terrible.

 

And if we get both Dwight and Van Gundy? There'd need to be a parade if that happened.

I wish Drexler and Bullard would just be themselves and stop trying to be Calvin. They are both smart men and should play themselves on tv.

Quit asking for Calvin back and maybe Clyde's suck might clear up.

No bro. Clyde's suck will never clear up. I hate to say this about one of Houston's All Time Greats, but ... he's a idiot. It's not just the other night's Italian comments, or the fact that he never seems to have anything insightful to offer about the games he commentates; it's the combination of worthless analysis, bad showmanship, and ignorant rhetoric.

Can someone post a list of dumb Drexlerisms? The list itself might actually be too long to post.

We all know why they continue to bring Clyde back.... It forces people to turn off the tv and say.... Damn, if I want to watch the game and enjoy it, it's going to have to be in person! It's all about the $$$.

When I met Calvin at a season ticket holders event, I told him how bad Clyde is/was and that most people want him back. He said he would come back if he had the opportunity, and he also had some not so nice words to say about Clydes commentaries.

I'm with most others. Keep Bill, get rid of Clyde, replace him with Calvin if possible, if not then replace him with Bullard. Problem solved.
