I think it means he's willing to admit that he won't contribute in any way for 3 to 4 weeks. I doubt he will be competing for Rafer's minutes shortly after that; the most telling quote was that it was his first practice since February. I hope he can stay injury free and work on becoming a strong backup PG. This might be the first season where he's coming in not believing he's the best PG (or best player) out there...
I'm fairly new to the board but I greatly appreciate all the Rocket coverage received in this site. Man, I'm a BIG TIME ROCKET fan so when I found this place I was in cloud nine. Thanks to the Ad (Clutch, I think) and all of the members here for making this an awesome site. The videos are purely awesome....I cant wait for the season to start!
Francis looks in great shape. hopefully will tracy's decline in minutes, it might mean a chance for steve.
Remember those alley oops slam dunk from steve to cato? It's like de ja vu to me if steve can come off the bench with dorsey.
Well done! Ya know what's funny... The moment I started reading your post with the first three words of "in a world" I immediately thought of Don (the movie guy).
I have some doubt. Alot of fans here seem to think he's the next Ben Wallace and somebody whose gonna come in and be the "enforcer" that gets people off Yao's jock for 10-20 mins per. If these things dont materialise, alot of posters will be underwhelmed. Worst case scenario he's a complete bust who proves to have no Bball IQ and is just a foul machine.
I can't believe it's that time of the year again. This is the time of the year when I get most excited about the upcomming season. Go STEVE and Go ROCKETS!!! WOOHOOO!!!
