Whatever you guys do...DO NOT get excited about Asik. This is just practice and scrimmage. It would have been a much better sign if he didn't stand out at all during these.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
its as if you are mocking him lol one misused there for their and one misused they're for their why do you say that?
Props for posting the footage but we won't know anything about this team until about a month into the regular season.
I agree, seems like he didn't really change much for the better. Hopefully he will show a lot more during the season or else his starting job is gone with sooo many PF's behind him.
Asik very good on defense Lin looked shaky at best Martin looked good 'Lamb looks like he has 10 gears left

The rooks get the benefit of playing against Asik to really experience elite defense and NBA-level length. Too bad for Asik that no one can match up in size against him for scrimmage. I'm starting to think that getting Toney Douglas was a very good calculated risk. It's more likely that last year was an anomalous shooting year for him than a regression to his true mean. In the past, he has shown he can shoot a 3P% of ~38, and I see no reason why he can't return to form, or perhaps even get better than before. <script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.sports-reference.com/wg.fcgi?css=1&site=bbr&url=%2Fplayers%2Fd%2Fdouglto01.html&div=div_per_minute"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.sports-reference.com/wg.fcgi?css=1&site=bbr&url=%2Fplayers%2Fd%2Fdouglto01.html&div=div_advanced"></script> Last year, he was out of his element playing PG for D'Antoni, and he missed games citing "personal reasons," which leads me to think that last year was an unusual year for him both on and off the court, and that this year, he is in a better place to contribute. And as a bonus, he's a good defender for Lin to scrimmage against. btw, if anyone can't recognize some of the players, their jersey numbers are listed here. http://espn.go.com/nba/team/roster/_/name/hou/houston-rockets
He was also suffering from a shoulder injury last year, which could have really messed his shooting up. If he can get back to shooting 38% on 3's that would be really beneficial. You can't have Lin playing 40+ min a night again.
