I was listening because I was at work and couldn't watch, but I turned it off when the lead hit 19...

Then checked the score with 1:15 left and nearly scared the people at the desks around me when I shrieked in excitement. From 19 down when I turned on music to 10 up when I came back to the game.

    Talk about shocked.

I was so excited to watch the fourth quarter when I got home from work!

    GO ROX!

I really believe the Clippers were so focused on stopping Harden, and it totally took them out of their game plan when he wasn't on the floor. Not knocking Harden but he's the focal point of the offense when he's on the floor, which can be good or bad depending on how well he's being defended and how well the others play off of him.

But that's it, right there, isn't it?

Granted, no Pat Beverley. Even so, this team is supposed to be a devastating defense, isn't it? On paper, we have an embarrassment of defensive riches.

Our guys really need to keep remembering that they shouldn't be intimidated by any offense in the world. Doesn't matter who it is; we can stop them. No one should get clean shots on us ever. That should honestly be our team identity right there.

I'm afraid to even be excited for game 7, because then it'll just hurt more if we lose. But our guys gotta believe in their defense. If they do that, the series is ours.

You are right. We have all the players to make for a defensive powerhouse. But we've never shown that kind of defense. I've never seen that kind of defense by a team.

I mean, it was RIDICULOUS. It was a swarm. No one on their team could even get a good shot off. It was sick. It was nasty. It was the most unfair defense I'd ever seen put on a team in a quarter in my entire life of watching NBA basketball.

They were throwing up airballs, shots getting blocked, passes tipped, steals, stuck in the lane. 5 Clippers looked helpless. For those last 10 minutes until that last 3 pointer by Paul, everything they did made them look like the 1980's version of the Clippers playing against the greatest defensive team in the world.

That kind of defensive intensity isn't sustainable. Heck I didn't even know it was possible. If we can do that for the 4th QTR here on out, we won't lose another game.

It kind of reminds me of the basketball equivalent of when the 2000 Baltimore Ravens played the Oakland Raiders in the playoffs.

Here was this vaunted offense who talked about how their west-coast stuff would bamboozle the Ravens. Has anyone ever been more wrong? About anything? By the end of the game, you get the feeling the Raiders felt good if their offense was just moving forward instead of backwards. I felt embarrassed for them.

Our defense should be that good. I don't know why it took this long.

It's unreal but this team is actually kind of looking like Clutch City 2.0. It's almost like something is in the works or something.

But we still gota win game 7 against a very dangerous team.

This was definitely one of the best comebacks I have ever seen. It's all set up by the situation - elimination game on the road, blown out by 25+ in two previous games, falling behind by 19 at one point... Unbelievable. Heart heart heart

Tmac 13 in 33 was an absurd, ridiculous, historic comeback as well. However, the game was in November I believe and didn't mean much (except beating the Spurs and Devin Brown's shocked face was awesome). Last night was better though

Somebody on the Rockets should do the "Kiss of Death" gesture once they secure the series.

Brewer gambles way toooo much on defense and gets blown by a lot.

What happened to him being a good defender? I just haven't seen that from him since he became a Rocket

With the way Brewer played last night, he is immune from any criticism in my book, regardless of what happens in game 7. The Rockets would not have gotten to where they are today without him. This from a guy who was traded for Troy Daniels and some second round picks.

He played well tonight, and I don't really like to criticize him because he really was key last game. But besides that spurt in the 4th quarter he has just been horrible all series long.

Hopefully his play last night will get him going
