I catch myself holding my breathe every time I see the big fella jump.

Throw some of those rebounds down big man! Practice like you play. No lay-ups!

Daaammnn.. Chucks free throws look niiccee! And the jumper!? Camera man is right.. why doesnt chuck do that in the game? Theyre not gonna double team him, if he can do it against Yao.. As for the big fella, he looks great, still has the touch, power, and is able to be physical. Moved very agile, not favoring his foot at all. Maybe it is fully healed..

not really blocked but more like stripped him. Yao still brings the ball low at times and chuck is one of the best in the business stripping the ball

Agree. Martin, Brooks and Scola are all excellent shooters and will make them pay. We'll see what develops at the 3 spot. Battier is good with the corner trey, but Budinger can hit from more spots on the floor, as well as take it to the basket. Defense? Yao automatically makes everyone better when he's on the court. I think our defense will be decent to good, with room for improvement, obviously, as the season progresses.

All we need is a healthy season!

    Go Rockets!!

to defeat fronting is feasible with ab and km. both have quick 1st step. when fronting, it means open space behind yao. if ab and km use their quick 1st step to beat their defenders and leave them in the dust, the fronting defender has to leave yao to help and at sametime the weakside defender may also leaves his man and cheat in to prevent penetration. in this case, ab or km has 3 options to work on. 1st option depends on how fast the weakside defender is closed in. ab or km can easily have layups. 2nd, both can pass the ball to yao since yao is free now. 3rd, they can also pass to the rox player that the weakside defender is supposed to defend.

You can't be serious typhooon yao other that being extremely out of shape and tired being the video we saw was the end of a 5 hour work out, looked great he was still polished had the power and he was playing with confidence. All he needs to do now is make sure he gets in game shape and then I see no reason he can't be the exact player he once was if not better because of the confidence he I showing in his play and saying in his foot finally being healed. Were looking real good rocket fans when I comes to the center position let's find somthing else to be worried about we can't stress out about his foot anymore it completly out of everybody including yaos hands.

I'm expecting Yao to play hungry this year. When you haven't been able to do the thing you love to do for over a year, you appreciate it that much more and don't take it for granted. He's going to have to build his confidence back up again, but that'll come back as long as he stays healthy. Come playoff time, with his confidence back and his hunger to play, I expect him to play really aggressively.

What? You want him to jump and dunk the ball every time right after he came back from such a serious foot injury? Are you out of your mind?
