    Is Sean Mitchell real? I wonder if Clutch just made him up as an alter ego to push the envelope and get on people's nerves, Andy Kaufman-like.

    Sure, it's OK to root for the Mavericks, as a Rockets fan. While we're at it, I believe it would also be OK to:

    1. Stick my face into a vat of muriatic acid.

    2. Have intercourse with farm animals.

    3. Put a poster of Justin Bieber on my wall.

    4. Relive the 3rd grade.

    5. Move to Dallas.

    6. Vote on Dirk Nowitski as the best foreign-born person to ever play in the NBA.

    7. Discontinue Capn Crunch Crunch Berries.

    8. Have Mark Cuban as the new boss of The Office.

    9. Lose my job and my wife.

    10. Join the Tennessee Titans fan club.


    Really, the guy has me convinced. Go Mavericks! Blue Forever! Ride 'Em Ponies!

    It's not that everyone just hates the mavs, even though i strongly dislike them. But it has a lot to do that this is dallas. Houston and Dallas just do not like each other and there are always bragging rights at stake especially for someone like me who currently lives in College Station for school and you have loads of dallas fans here(majority bandwagoners I believe). Anything that makes dallas look good, I am against. Yes, you might say I do not like dallas but I just love Houston that much.

    I hate dallas as rivals (football, basketball, amateur mma whatever) and will never cheer for them, but I can respect the enemy. Kidd is a HOF and dirk is now in the argument for being a top 5 PF (not top 3, Elvin Hayes is still better).

    But dallas teams and fans never had mercy on us (cowboys, mavericks etc.), and even if they did who cares, **** 'em.

    WHOA, hold on.

    Some of you guys are saying that you have more hate for the Sonics than the Mavs? The Rockets lost to the Mavs in the 88' playoffs and they consisted of Sam Perkins and Detlef SHRIMP or however his name was spelled (Derek Harper also a Mav at the time.) So with that, they beat us twice in the playoffs! Then they went on and took Nolan Ryan away from the Stros, kicked the Oilers out of state, while Shawn Bradley is beating up on Walt Williams (it's ok Walt.)

    Let's not forget Mark Cuban buying 5 court side seats just to irritate us @ the Toyota Center.
