[ClutchFans] Rockets new slogan continues Red theme (UPDATE: Billboard artwork)

lammmeeee, It's Time was the only good one, but it apparently was not correct, it was not time, correct your watches next time Rockets!

 

I like it. I think it works just fine

Just clicked on this thread for the first time and let me say...

Wow, how unoriginal and uncatchy. I guess Morey's idea about the team never being bad and old doesn't extend to the slogan.

I can come up with an overused lame slogan too. Look...

"The worldwide leader in red."

You'd think they'd come up with a slogan that references championships or maximum effort or gritty determination or something that relates to this team and the problems with this season, but no.

Oh well. I'm a Rockets fan for life, but I detest how the front office screwed up the uniforms and can't even get a decent slogan going. They should have come here and asked for ideas.

 

They came up with a slogan that would fit in well with their marketing campaign and allow them to sell merchandise. It's not so much about getting to the heart of what the Rockets are about.

 

Even if this slogan does sound communist, democrat, republican, or whatever everyone is claiming, i think that is all trumped by one thing...

It is uncreative and stupid.

What makes you so creative? or such an authority? You're a bulletin board cynic. What's creative about that?

I don't love the tagline, but its clearly trying to evoke a sense of affiliation amongst the casual fans. Did you expect it to fully reflect your feelings about the Rockets? I imagine that if they were marketing exclusively to us bulletin board fanatics, they are completely alienating their casual fans.

Regardless, I imagine they would come up short for you, no matter how fantastic their marketing could be. You're like the greek marketing tmac.
