The only way he adds to his legacy is by joining the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference.

My mom's family is from cleveland, they all despised lebron for leaving to miami, and I will agree that I hated miami as well and even rooted for the spurs these finals... I agree we would literally be the most hated team since the '10 Heat, but I would be okay with that ;)

Do you honestly think he was talking about local criticism?

I definitely remember the series. But there was no way in hell I would have fathomed it would make a return just a year after landing Dwight Howard (and considering we already have Harden).

In fact, if someone had told me this content series would be revived in the Summer of 2014 and wouldn't be focused on mid-level players the day after we signed Howard, I would have spit in their faces.

That Morey jaborni I like has created quite the universe for us Rockets' fans. A place where we can dream big.

MJ won the last of his 6 rings at age 35.

Lebron is 29 and has 2 rings.

Lebron has to win 5 of the next 6 championships to surpass Jordan by the time he's 35.

    I'm just say'n.

$100 tip jar contribution if Lebron James suits up for the Houston Rockets next season.

    I just don't see it.

I agree, but where I originally criticized all the heat fans for jumping on a lebron bandwagon while the rest of us hated him/them, I now see how they felt as lebron coming here would surely mean some championships and as cliche as it is.... haters gonna hate. its lonely at the top and I would be fine with that

If we traded harden I would be pissed...even for Lebron. We need some identify as a team. As well I fear it would make the Rockets look Hollywood and would be good ammo for competing teams to showcase the Rocket's lack of loyalty to potential free agents.

Leave the thread then man. Seriously, this is for fans who, you know want to be positive once in awhile. And it has a legitimate chance of happening, I'd even go as far as to saying it has a better chance than him going to Miami had considering everything.

We are already pretty much the most disliked team...

People hate Hardens game and hate dwight for his past dealings...

so what if we get more haters?

All for the greater glory of Houston, baby.

Would be awesome considering what happened with Ray Allen when he went to the Heat and the Celtics branded him a traitor.

And Jordan had way less mileage on his body, and had a year off which probably did wonders for the last few years of his career.

A buddy of mine is a physical therapist, and tells athletes he works with all the time that the best thing they can do to stay athletic for the longest amount of time is to diversify their sports, and step away from your sport every once in awhile to train your body in a different way.

I have alot of friends that just really dont like Lebron for whatever reason and I get on a rant sometimes to tell them that they need to put aside the hate and appreciate the time this guy has left. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be shocked if his body eventually starts breaking down in a couple years and he doesn't look like the same player. I think he'll still be very effective in alot of ways, but you might see that "greatness" factor drop off significantly.

All that being said, I think Lebron stopped caring about the Michael Jordan comparison a long time ago, and the conversation is reserved for Mike & Mike filler discussion. Of the modern Era its Jordan #1, Duncan #2, & Kobe/Lebron battling it out for #3 as far as decorative basketball players goes. You can have subjective arguments all you want to make a case for pretty much every guy other than Kobe, but as far as hardware goes (if that's the way your ranking it) Lebron isn't going to get there most likely and that should be totally fine.

I don't know, he could be good in our up-tempo system. And he could be a nice shot blocker to pick up the slack when Dwight is sitting. Plus, he doesn't need the offense fed through him.

It is clear. Bring back Stro.
