Correction.. I missed all my dunks and instead hurt my pretty little hands. I hope someone brings a ball cus I don't have any. I'm gonna bring my roommate along and hopefully First Lady will come too. Btw we stayed until after 5ish last time, altho we stopped playing after about 4ish. The lights didn't really come on even after we left so I don't know how long we can stay. I assumed that the place closes after it's dark, unless you bring your own light.
EVERYBODY is welcome. ...and a question for those who have played there. How low are these "lowered rims"? I hope they're not TOO low because then that's not really fun.
7 feet? roughly, regardless, you'd still have to jump to dunk, its not like we can dunk with out jumping
moes was dunking all day and night. He actually did a dunk with 2 balls at one point. And Fuzzybear did a one-hand reverse 360 at one point as well. I missed almost all of mines : (
I can't join you guys this weekend, but I definitely will try to make it next weekend if yall play. It's been a while for me, though.
Nono, it's a full court with normal height rims on opposite sides. The lowered rims are on the half court going across the court, which I'm assuming is for little kids.
if i ever go out with CCR and i think he's cockblocking me, i think all i ever have to do is throw a basketball in his general direction to distract him. the things he does just for a pickup game... i'm tentative for this saturday.
I'm 6'2 and I could almost touch the rim standing flat... so I'd say they are definitely 8 foot rims.
I play every weekend with my friends. Ther'e's usually 5-6 of us that show up regularly. We live in Cypress though, so it's a bit of a drive down there. Anybody here live close-by to us wanna play? We're all okay at the game.
Hey CCR - I thought one time when our league game was cancelled (without notice) we checked out that court - and IIRC, it was a bit slick. Not sure if it was wet outside or the court was simply dirty, but we ended up not playing on that outside court b/c no one had a ball.
Thanks for the info. That sucks if true. I can deal with double rims, no net, a flat ball, no court lines, etc. But a slippery court just F's everything up and it's dangerous.
