I think the Rockets will wait until after the draft to even decide if they will trade Lowery or not. It will be better to know that they have an assurance that Dragic will re-sign or not. I also think the Rockets should trade out of the first round and into the second if they can't move up.

A great read, Clutch, as per usual. You know one of the things that stood out for me? You didn't mention Pau Gasol and the Lakers. That was very groovy, at least from where I sit.

Maybe we should trade this pick?

^^^^ you basically said the same thing i said in the other thread. really not looking forward to this draft if we get another role player, and another raw "potential" player.

It seems to me that trading Lowry for Toronto's #8 is the most realistic option.

    Or for that #6 pick.

Martin, Scola, and Dally would probably get you Blatche, Lewis, and #3.

If Robinson really falls past #4, I would shower Sacramento with offers to get him. He screams star to me.

I wonder what the Bobcats would be asking for the 2nd pick.

There isn't a clear-cut guy at that selection and this seems a viable trade-partner.
    Clutch, what do you think?

Any player from our squad would be an upgrade at each position.

Lowry, Parsons, Morris, PPat, 14th and 16th are interesting assets, i'm sure we could pull a trade combining some of these. Then buy our way into the 2nd round.

trade klow for the 6th pick, then

trade the 6th pick and kevin martin + fillers to Cleveland for the 4th pick and Varejao.

draft Beal with the 4th pick.

How about we trade KLow + Martin + Scola + 16th pick for Howard and duhon.

    Draft: Rivers with Pick 14

    sign Williams + re-sign Camby.

    What you guys think?

    PG: William / Duhon
    SG: Rivers / ????
SF: Parson / Bud / Morris
PF: PPat / Mote / Morris
    C: Howard / Camby

I think something like this is what Morey is going to try to pull off. Jump up to 8 or 6 and then go for the homerun using that pick and whatever is left to get into the top 5.

I don't think that pick is acquirable without significantly overpaying. They're gonna take MKG and try to turn him into MJ.

Exactly. Potential is a very expensive word.

However Cho is the GM. He is well respected having come out of the OKC organization after the rebuilding years. He might surprise us. I think he perhaps is going to think outside the box. Should be interesting!

I'd be all over that if the #3 pick meant MKG. I bet he goes #2 though like you mentioned.
