mhch20 hasn't made a pick so we'll make this quick...

With the 130th pick, the Patriots select Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers

I know... but it still makes sense to get someone young to develop. Gabbert to me seems the almost the same as Fitzpatrick with the Texans... in Gabbert's case, he is basically there in case Kaep goes down with an injury.

The 49ers have been trying out QBs, including Tahj Boyd and even Jimmy Garoppolo. While I really doubt the 49ers use a pick high enough to get Garoppolo, Boyd seems like a possibility. And there are others a bit later in the draft that may even make more sense.

btw, Kaep's got his own controversy, so it is possible that QB is moved higher in their needs.

I remember reading (or hearing) that Harbaugh liked Gabbert when he was coming out. But you're probably right. Got to have a backup plan for the back up plan. And don't forget Logan.

I don't think a bunch of quarterbacks will go in the 1st round in the real draft, but I don't expect so many to be left on the board by the end of the 4th round. I think it's about 4 or 5 teams (like Cincinnati, Tennessee, and Pittsburgh) that may would have drafted a quarterback by now.

Logan Thomas... yup. The two I think make sense later are David Fales of San Jose State (who has worked out for the 49ers) and someone I prefer, Brett Smith of Wyoming.

I definitely agree that its surprising more QBs haven't been picked, like the QB from LSU and Alabama.

Are we finishing off Round Four?

    32 (132). Seattle Seahawks(K-Low_4_Prez)
    33 (133). Detroit Lions (compensatory selection)(rezdawg)
    34 (134). Baltimore Ravens (compensatory selection)(Sir Geving)
    35 (135). Houston Texans (compensatory selection)(FLASH21)
    36 (136). Detroit Lions (compensatory selection)(rezdawg)
    37 (137). New York Jets (compensatory selection)(M.G.)
    38 (138). Baltimore Ravens (compensatory selection)(Sir Geving)
    39 (139). Atlanta Falcons (compensatory selection)(thething)
    40 (140). New England Patriots (compensatory selection)(mhch20)

While I think it would be fun to continue and have a fifth round, it seems like interest and availability has petered out and most of the picks the last round or two are coming from a small number here...

Let's finish this thing off. K-Low has been following Seattle's scouting report for draft needs to a T. And they could use a OT, DT, or a DE... He may was going to go with one of those positions.

Losing Corey Graham in free agency leaves the Ravens with a need at 3rd cb. So the Ravens selects Terrance Mitchell out of Oregon.

He showed ability as a man corner. Good technique in terms of positioning and diagnosing the play. With some added muscle without loosing speed, he can turn out to be a really good corner and leave the Ravens with a great secondary with Webb, Smith, Mitchell, Ward who I drafted in the second round and Elam.

With Ray Rice in legal trouble, and coming off a terrible season and Pierce being injury plagued, the Baltimore Ravens selects Terrance West out of Towson.
I think he would fit Kubiak's ZBS.

Atlanta Falcons and thething is on the clock.
