Last night was definitely a good building block... now hopefully we aren't too short staffed or tired to finally win one tonight.

Good recap clutch and thanks for the vid IMF... wish I could have had HD with Bill and Bull last night :)

Stop it Sticking, 124 points??? We have not played enough D to win1 game. Granted we were 2 missed free throws (Lee) from wining. However, the D is not getting better.

Until we hold a team under 100, then we can say we are building on something.

Sometimes you need to hit rock bottom to get in the right mindset and return to your core identity. Going 0-5 is a humbling. This team has more physical talent than we had last year--much more. It's just not putting things together very well. Until last night, I sensed that the Rockets were telling themselves that they're better than their record and they just needed to let the wins kick in. That's not enough (even though they are better than their record). They need to play with urgency like they did the whole 82 games last year. Last night after going down by 14, they played with urgency--which basically means that people start being accountable for their play and not wait for Yao to get back to full speed or the other players to bail them out. Last year, the whole year, they had the mentality that it didn't matter who was out, they just played w/o excuses. Hopefully they make that shift.

I felt the winds changing a little last night. If anyone has seen Shaolin Soccer (hilarious, by the way), it's like the scene where this team of kung fu guys who lost their mojo get an ass whooping by a thuggish team, which then reawakens the team and they start kicking ass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4if2ewnINQ

If every loss we start building on, we will be Championships in 2011-2012?
