    Are you serious?
Nobody is questioning whether or not he deserves it.
Doesn't make him any less of a douche. MJ was a huge douche too. Difference is that MJ is untouchable.

Parsons is a very mature player for a 1st year player. Not intimidated at all. I could tell even in his first few games, the way he interacted with the teammates on the bench, that he wasn't an ordinary rookie.

He really does have a bright future. Great pick up by Morey. Great steal.

We are set on defense with him, he is our S.Battier (according to Clutchfans), but I think he is the next Pippen (yep- I said it). I'm hoping he turns out that way, but regardless to pick him as a 2nd rounder is a credit to Morey. If we can get Battier back and with Camby, JVG would be begging to come back to coach. Things are looking rosy with the newcomers (through free-agency, or with the 2 propects) next year, it is going to be exciting year from here on out.

Parsons should've been a lottery pick easily.

Much better than a pissed off Kobe .... Seems like every time someone gets under his skin he goes offfrom that point on.

They switched Parsons to Kobe after Lee picked up his second foul.

I dont think it was so much his length that bothered him , more that he played fundamentaly and positionally sound defense while not biting on fakes.

Case in point was the bullsh@t call against Parsons out near the 3 poiint line I believe it was near the end of the 3rd quarter. Multiple ball fakes .... CP keeps his feet on the ground while crowding Kobe as the shot clock is winding down which forced a poor shot ..... Stupid ref bailed him out.

I really hate the offensive player creating the contact and getting the call .... Like the defender isnt allowed to occupy his space.
The foul on Dalembert where Kobe came in out of control but created contact throwing up a wild shot facing away from the basket and falls down .... Ugh , hows that a foul ?!

Typical of Kobe, trying to save face after getting owned by a rookie.

I wonder if he can bump out tony allen from the nba second all defensive team. Parsons should at least be considered. No homerism here. =)

Tony Allen should be bumping out someone from the 1st all defensive team.

Yeah, kinda reminded me of when Ariza used to guard Kobe.

I feel like defenders that do well when guarding Kobe are the ones that have a good combination of length and athleticism.

Somebody mentioned Parsons is the next Pippen. Don't know about that, but is not out of the realm of possibilities.

But I think he is the next Iggy. The athletic guy with a good all around game who you just let defend the opponents best wing player. This team has needed someone who can effectively guard the Durant's, Kobe's and LBJ's in this league.

Thank goodness he has the length and speed to guard these players. He needs to get stronger to the defend the stronger 3's of the league, like Melo and Bron.
