    actually let me rephrase that..It's gonna come down to are those three players willing to take a pay cut to play together and be almost guaranteed multiple championships?

    Did anyone think howard would outright leave the lakers and sign with houston this time last season?

    Point is you never know what is going to happen 3 years from now. Who knows what our roster will look like so it is far fetched to make predictions about Durant.

    With the stamp of KD offering the possibility of multiple future championships would the owner be willing to pay the tax without sacrificing its core support?

    LOL Dwight can opt out before Durant even has a chance to come over.....too many ifs.

    If harden and Howard gets a ring before durant does, there is no doubt that he ll come here and play with them.

    Perhaps he, (DH-player option) opts out and takes less along with KD taking less to make it happen? Prior to Bosh and LBJ teaming up with Wade I didn't think that had a chance, now they're going for 3 in a row.

    Lately it feels like KD coming to Houston could ACTUALLY happen. The way things have been going for OKC I see him bolting (with a disappointing playoff run) to GS or us.

    Pulling off an upset against the Thunder that motivates KD to come here is way better than no playoffs and a 12 pick. Im on board for this team to win out and get that 6th seed, go Rockets

    Harden stole the ball away from Durant on that play, just like the Rockets are going to steal Durant from OKC.

    That's the only scenario in which I could see Durant coming here. We wind up 6th, upset OKC in Round 1, and give the Spurs a run for their money in the semifinals. And even then, it's a longshot.

    Thanks for a pointless bump. I was thinking Bima thought we had no chance getting KD this offseason which would be odd

    Even if we miraculously get the 6th seed. Who's to say that Durant won't get into a fight with one of our stars, hence creating some bad blood between Durant and the city. For all we know, Durant could say something bad about the city of Houston or the Rockets organization after a bad loss where calls go our way in game 3 or something. Or it could all be fueled by a Beverly vs Westbrook altercation stem from physical plays... resulting in the two teams hating one another.

    I may be too pessimistic, but if we were too meet OKC in the playoffs somehow, at the end of the series where we get blown out, Durant could hate the Rockets organization.

    Maybe we can do it miami style
    Horford=bosh
    Kd=lebron
    Harden=wade

    Is it possible to form our version of miamis big 3

    I'm not even going to pretend to get my hopes up. If Durant looked at our season at all there is no way he is coming here. We all thought we were plugging a hole with Lawson and look what happened. He will probably think the same thing would happen if he came.

    Bima's knowledge of the Salary cap and his logic are and were solid, but a lot can happen in a few years.
