[ClutchFans] Jeremy Lin interview after scoring 16, 10 dimes vs. Raptors

It was reported that Lin's parents attended the Knicks and Raptors game. Lin said he plays better when his mom is in the crowd. Maybe his parents should move to Houston during the season.

 

Am I the only one who thought Lin is the black Matt Saracen after watching this interview?

 

No Landry, no care

 

It seems like Lin is getting comfortable with his new situation now after the Knicks game. He looked great and in control the whole game - creating for others, hitting open shots and driving to the basket all while playing pretty good defense. If he can keep this level of play up we don't have to worry about the PG position for a while.

 

Hope he keeps it up, good game he just had.

When I first heard Lin speak, I too thought he sounded exactly like Matt Saracen.

Their story arc is also kind of similar.

 

When Lin and Parsons are driving to the basket and kicking back out to open shooters we look hard to beat (when they're falling anyway). Man Morris is a hot shooter this year too. Even PPat was knocking them down last night.

Nice interview. Jeremy is always so thoughtful and honest and humble when interviewed. Nice to see him playing so well yesterday. I agree he seems more comfortable and relaxed since the Knicks game. After the Dec 17th MSG game, he can really relax, I guess. That one's obviously on his mind yet. And he's right, it's going to be a zoo.

It's also obvious how much Coach McHale means to him and the rest of the guys. I find that quite touching. Today is going to be a long, difficult day for them all.

I think McHale will be back to coach this team. it is very clear that the players love him & he loves them. McHale isn't going anywhere & honestly I am cool with that. If players love you this much that they think about you like you are more than a coach would you want said coach to leave?

 

Yeah, maybe open up a Taiwanese restaurant.

 

Probably more than a few Asian parents saying that to there kids now...."look why can't you be more like that linsane boy...."
