I just wish he'd say something objective about the team that's playing on TNT that night. Yes Chuck, we all know that you don't think the Rockets are contenders. You've been saying that since forever. But how about talking a little about how great Harden was last night? If that were Lebron going off like Harden did last, they'd all be on their knees ready to tickle his nuts about how great he is. Instead, we get the same old tired narrative about "the Rockets aren't this, or the Rockets aren't that".

 

Can we get one of the national media guys to retweet this article?? I'm so sick of the misinformation that's being put out there right now about the Rockets, Harden, Dwight, and analytics in general.

You're an idiot if you've lost between 10-30mill (depends on the interview) gambling, and justify it by saying, "you can afford it". What's funny is that his beef with the Rockets is about money, money he claims he was swindled out of from Les Alexander years ago, but he willingly continues to get swindled by Vegas and he's ok with it because he can afford it? Barkley is basically a professional troll. Like most trolls it's best not to get too worked up over them.

 

I'm not sure if you know this, but what Barkley says doesn't affect the W/L record, so it shouldn't matter. I was informed of this in the other thread. And here I've spent my entire basketball watching life thinking that what some ****** ex-player with as many rings as me says during halftime directly contributes to the final score of the game.

Guess that's why my Fantasy Inside the NBA league never took off.

 

Charles is an idiot. There is a reason he is out begging for a GM job and nobody will give it to him . He can be funny sometimes...but when it comes to making moves that require risk calculation...you can't trust an idiot.

 

I totally agree with you but just to play the devil's advocate. Don't you think that "fat*** ex-player's" opinion carries a lot of weight (no pun intended) when it comes to free agent recruitment? I mean, look at the responses by players to his stupid remarks about analytics.

 

I'm pretty sure Barkley is drunk while doing these shows. This is him in a nutshell...

 

Is it just me or is it just ridiculously obvious that Barkley has a personal private grievance with Les or Morey, and when he didn't get what he wanted he threatened (and executed) publicly disparaging the Rockets by abusing his position in national media?

I don't know why but I can almost see that Barkley is personally attacking Les for something, meanwhile trying to cover his ass to make sure his employer doesn't fire him for abusing his position.

 

that's true, I was just curious because the hate he has for us has boiled drastically since McHale got here. Never saw him taking shots at AB, Battier, Budinger, Lowry days

I think at this point, people should really be looking into TNT or Turner sports who ever is in charge of this show. Sure entertaining at times, but the hate for this team has reached new heights and it's prett pathetic.

I get what you saying but i don't think there's a correlation between dispute of salary and what you spend your money on.

if Mayweather got screwed over by 3 million dollars by a promoter his bad decisions to buy 3 bugattis has nothing to do with it

I would say no but the fact that Dwight is already pretty hated and Harden is starting to become fairly hated just helps those people feel vindicated with their hate when they see Barkley go on his tirades against the Rockets.
