Watching Greg out there at the 5, no way the rockets make it through the season like that. He misses defensive rotations, fouls too much, and doesn't space the floor well.

Avery Bradley is the best fit next to Harden. Big PG who has a 3D mentality and will defer ball handling & facilitating to Harden & Parsons. A scorer who can also lock down opposing guards. A pit bull with no conscience.

Bass and Lee (still like him) are simply trade fluff. Bradley is the best deal from Boston, Green is nice but how much better than Jones is he right now.

Only other trade that I like is Luol Deng but it will take multiple teams to make that deal. Bulls need a scorer with Rose out and Deng on way out, Asik would be a luxury for them.

If you mean Avery Bradley then this is my favorite trade scenario.

Why do people care about Doc Rocket, he has very few followers and doesn't seem to have many sources (if any) Do people just like unraveling his quotes?

    A terrible info:

    ClutchFans @clutchfans 2m
Source: Rockets have been informed by league that the deadline is 12/20 (not 12/19) to make trade & still be able to trade received players.

we should be wait one more day...

Clutch tweeted after that, that Morey just has to pick the best deal in front of him. Asik is gone tomorrow.

So, Daryl Morey just followed Paul Milsap on Twitter. For whatever that is worth. PLEASEEEE let this be true.

From reports, the Boston deal that was "in place" was not even close, as Bass wasnt included in any proposed deals with the Rockets.

Whatever rumors emerged yesterday, let us take solace in this thread and remind ourselves that Morey is principle-driven, that he behaves in certain ways and that he would NEVER do some of the things being thrown about by the natl media at this point:

As Clutch pointed out, here are some priorities:
    1. Contract flexibility, aka NO player options!
    2. NO contracts going past 2015!
    3. Prospects and draft picks ahead of current day value, especially when the point is to flip these assets later on for a single, better player.

We'll see how the actual trade unfolds but just relax and realize that Morey will not violate his old tenets. As much as it would be COOL to have a lanky wing defender that could cover the 2-3-4 spots off the bench, or another backup big man who could play 10-12 minutes solid defense while Dwight sits; all these things are luxuries. They are secondary to our accrual of assets in our quest to get not just a championship contending roster (which we have right now, which OKC and SAS and Indiana have as well) but a championship FAVORITE roster.

Eyes on the prize folks. We can always bring Camby back in the stretch run for depth at the 5. Hire Garrett Temple or some kid like him (DJ Strawberry? Is he still out there) to play the dinky "get in Kobe's face!" role at the wing. But a third star ain't easy to snatch. We're throwing back the flounders this year, in it all for the biggest catch...

i wish they would go ahead and trade asik, lin or whoever and then come up with a stable lineup and bench and move forward tired of all the rumors and innuendo. the team is tons better than it was a year ago and all you hear about is the negative stuff.
