Terry and Hayes would be at $947,276 (just like Thornton, who actually makes more, but that is paid by the league).

Also, Harrell would be at $525,093.

The other numbers are mostly accurate (although K.J.'s salary is ever-so-slightly different; Pincus hasn't updated his salary yet).

Our starters are making 60 million and backups making about 27 million. That reads like some long term goal was achieved.

Bima, I saw the above in your write-up and wondered if there is any reason to believe Llull might ever come over (and, if not a Rock, at least as a tradable asset)?

On Terry: If he signs a 1 year deal for the vet min the league pays everything above the 2nd year players salary which is the $947k you state .... If its a multi-year vet min deal the Rockets are on the hook for the entire value and that value is also the cap hit which is the $1.499m shown in the graphic.

From what I understand a second year is the hangup with Terry and that would hard cap the team much like Harrell getting anything more than the standard two year rookie deal ??

Not sure if Llull comes over here (especially if Lawson works out), but as you said, it at least increases the odds that he COULD come to the NBA. If he does, he'd be a nice trade asset, especially in a summer when so many teams will have the cap room to pay him.

You got the first part right, but a second vet minimum year would NOT hard cap the Rockets. Terry probably wants more (1) salary, (2) years and (3) playing time. Hence, the holdup.
