I think its great that we are playing Ducan/Howard. It gives Miller/Yao a good look at the toughest centers/ powerforwards in the league.

I cant wait for the preseason to start!

I seriously doubt any of those 4 guys see significant minutes in preseason.

In previous years, all pre-season games have been broadcast locally on either FSN-Houston or whatever the independent alternative channel is (my20 last season)

as of this time, I am planning on posting pre-season games like previous years.

[CHRONIC] Yao, Rockets set for series in China against the Nets

    http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7138076.html

When Yao Ming's long wait to return to the court is over, he won't have to wait long to be back on the floor in China.

The NBA will today announce its long-expected China Games schedule, two individuals with knowledge of the deals said on Tuesday.

The Rockets will face the New Jersey Nets Oct. 13 in Wukesong Arena, one of the primary venues in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and Oct. 16 in Guangzhou's International Sports Arena.

The Rockets have not announced their preseason home schedule, but will open the preseason against the Orlando Magic Oct. 5 in McAllen. They will complete the preseason Oct. 21 against the Spurs in San Antonio.

With the trip to China, the Rockets will be among the teams permitted to open training camp early, with players reporting Sept. 24 and practices beginning Sept. 25 in Austin.

Stern must not be following the Nets. He forgot where Yi went; he should have introduced John Wall to China.

The schedule was set when Yi was with the Nets, before they screwed everything up and traded him to Washington.. still dont see why they dont change the schedule, It would be cool to see Wall start in China, let alone Yi vs Yao.
