if the spurs defender wasn't giving an effort guarding Harden then those plays wouldn't look that "nasty" right?

For a second I started daydreaming that your response was about the Texans... and then I realized Texans arent going anywhere this year if we keep on using Schaub! All that hype about the Texans has gone to waste the past couple months! :(

    Harden for 25ppg/7a, Howard 19p/12r

best back court - front court in the league.

A great piece. Especially since the Rockets don’t play many setup plays, they need to gel with on court chemistry to display their 100% potential.

Wasn't one of the default talking points of some Lin fans that if Bev started with Harden that Dwight wouldn't get the touches that he would with Lin. Harden would mostly look to score and not setup his big man for easy buckets?

Just not seeing that so far. This isn't a post advocating for Bev to start, just pointing out again how ridiculous it is to say that Harden is some kind of ball hog who cant create for others at an extremely high level.

Harden is a willing passer most of the time and is learning to become a better one, learning to trust his teammates to be able to make those shots, learning to make play rather than doing 1-on-1 by dribbling away 20 seconds and resulting an turnover. The team has good chemistry and it seems that he understands passing makes his job easier.

Lin fans do have a point. However, with Beverley starting, Harden is a de facto organizer of the offense and Beverley is reduced to a spot-up shooter after bringing the ball up. This works great because Harden and Lin both drive to the hoop a lot and there is only one ball. Harden is getting the ball to Howard. Using Beverley’s ball pressing defense with the starting unit and saving Lin’s driving force with the second unit is a good strategy because it maximizes defense of the first unit without reducing much of offense, at the mean time, it also increase the offense of the second unit. Win win.

    Very excited of this season.

They were saying that out of hate. Everybody that seen Harden play in OKC and here in Htown knows that he is a will passer.

I like the chemistry but I've noticed that parsons has been clicking really well with Howard also. He throws him the best inlet passes and alley oops. Harden was good in the spurs game but there are time where he will miss Dwight.
