Curry’s due for a breakout game, so we need to keep him off his rhythm by keeping him in foul trouble like we have the first 3 games.

Even though we all know the refs will never actually foul him out of a game, I still think a big part of the reason why he’s been in a slump so far this series is because he’s constantly getting in foul trouble and having to sit, which is subsequently keeping him from getting in a rhythm.

Screen HARD and keep going at him with our 3 star guards.

Need to start off like in the regular season! Cannot afford to play from behind. Have to set the tone defensively and attack early. Again and no seeking for fouls, play the same way defensively though watch the screens for open threes even more. Punch them in the mouth, figuratively and for Draymond literally. Give that Chorizo kid his time to shine by knocking that fool out.

They are probably just used to seeing their guys get calls for any finger touch on any part of their body like some of the fouls we get called for that don't inhibit play.

Are they are blaming a mysterious ghost for Curry's missed layup and dunk at the end?

I doubt Faried gets off the bench the rest of this series. Nene has replaced him in the rotation.

The good news is no Brothers or Foster. The bad news is if the Rockets tie this up, one or both will officiate a game at some point in this series.

If Foster officiates the way he did in Game 2 - should be ok. However, the Rockets defeated themselves mentally in Game 2 once they saw who was gonna officiate.

So in conclusion - if either Foster or Brothers are officiating, Rockets just have to play their game and stay mentally tough and possibly even play through potential bad calls.

there is no good news for us when game 7 callahan is on the court. short of a 55pt triple dub for harden (and it would have to be on made shots b/c he's not getting FTs), i don't see us able to win this game. btw callahan was also the lead ref for the "secret tunnel" game @LAC last year

You’d think Faried could be impactful but at this point I don’t think MDA trusts him at all. He barely trusts Nene. We have to win with small ball it seems.

I hate the fact that we have to know the names of refs and wait 8 am to know if we have a better or worse or no chance of winning that day. After Games 1,2 and 3, I don’t think it really matters anymore who refs the games, as all the refs are showing bias towards GSW. We have to play through it and ignore the refs as much as possible.

Start of the game, we were one of the top teams in 1st quarters. In the playoffs, not so much.

Any ref in the Game 6 and Game 7 of last year, including Mike Callahan needs to fired. Callahan and Foster are the worst refs for us, Brothers is also but I think he just sucks. Anyways after Games 1 and 3 referees, it doesn’t matter as much because we need to win even with the Worriers receiving favorable calls. Game 2 refs although called it more or less fairly, it’s how the officials were assigned (Foster) after Game 1 by NBA, that is very unsettling.

Rockets need to overcome officiating today by hitting tough shots (foul or not) and by playing well on both ends of the court while gobbling all the rebounds and limiting turnovers. It’s not fair but it is what it is. After Game 1 and especially Game 2, there isn’t much expectation on NBA ever doing the right thing.

We will win as long as Dantoni remembers that the two lineups that win us Game 3 were...

    Paul, Harden, Gordon, Rivers, Capela
    8 minutes
    Offensive Rating: 133.3
    Defensive Rating: 94.4
    Net Rating: +38.9

    Paul, Gordon, Shumpert, Tucker, Nene
    4 minutes
    Offensive Rating: 157.1
    Defensive Rating: 14.3
    Net Rating: +142.9

Our starting lineup still had a negative net rating for the 3rd game in a row. The key is those mixed lineups we use.

It feels like every series there's always a Klay game, so of course you worry about him going 7-12 at any moment. However, we're doing a great job so far schematically of making him shoot tougher shots. Here's a breakdown of how his shots have looked over the last two regular seasons

% of 3point shots that are:
Open or Wide Open - 77.4
Tight or Very Tight - 22.6

    3pt% on those shots
    Open - 44%
    Tight - 35%

So far this series only 65% of his 3 point attempts are open, so that means his contested shot attempts have gone up from 23% to 35%. That's been the key to keeping him in check. He's shooting 46% on those open shots this series, so we aren't necessarily getting lucky, that's actually an improvement on his usual numbers. He's only hit 1 of 7 tightly contested 3s, and while he can and will hit those better, it should still be at a rate we can live with.

Bottom line is, while either of the splash bros can get hot at any moment, we are keeping Klay quiet in a way that could be sustainable. There's no regression to the mean to be made, just adjustments to get him more open, which we have to be on top of.

If we get this one we are basically starting anew in a best of 3 series. Anything can happen in a best of 3.
