ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/24/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 5)

We shot 36% against the best team in the NBA and are still tied. Calm down. We are right in this game and the shots will fall at some point.

 

Played great but feels like we still lost the 1st half. Our energy times down and warriors came back

CP3 and harden need a serious gut check in the locker room... that was an embarrassingly bad half for both of them. Absolutely no excuse to play that poorly on this big a stage. Harden finished the second half of last game playing terribly and his first half tonight is even worse. So frustrating.

 

Dead legs? Tired legs? Don't hesitate Mike to expand that 6-7 man rotation.

 

Well, Harden can’t really shoot worse than 0-7 from 3.

 

Considering how bad our three point shooting is now, play Ryno

 

and all that doesn't matter if you lose this game this way.

the warriors are beatable and they're not showing up so far.

Yah i think its kind of annoying if i cant see the game when im there. Its cool to stand in big moments and in the late 4th but Id prefer to not have to stand the whole game.

 

Hopefully they can bring their shot back second half. They have to treat this as an elimination game.

 

Rockets chucking bricks. No passing/assists. Good defense so far keeping us in the game. Warriors played poorly and yet it is tied. Lets hope we can knock down shots in second half.

Yep. They picked the worst time in the world to go cold. You can't expect to shut down golden state that easy. Warriors turned the ball over a ton and we turned that into nothing.

 

Why are you sorry to say it? Yes it was a terrible half, no one can come close to denying that.

The problem I have are people saying "I'm done with Harden", "Wow, Always a choker"....Give it a freaking rest.

 

There's two way of looking at this.

If Harden and CP made their shots, we would have been up by at least double digits.

or

Harden and CP have missed pretty much everything and we are level with Warriors at halftime.

Needed to build that cushion though because 3rd quarter is usually when Wariors like to take control.

 

Are you guys really blaming the refs?

 

you expect the games to be just high scoring offensively when youre playing one of the best teams in history. youre kidding yourself
