Dwight was seriously pissed off during the press conference. You could tell he was holding it all in. He answered a quick "yep" to a question whether he was surprised that GS played harder. I don't think he's happy with his teammates at this particular moment. He went out of his way to say that they're "not going to quit on each other." To me that's code for, these other MFers BETTER NOT quit on me.

At this particular moment I don't have a bad word to say about Dwight. I feel sorry for him more than anything.

 

I feel for Dwight. You can tell how bad he wants a ring that just might never come.

 

They did quit on him and he knows it.He played well overall...was disappointed that Curry beat him to a couple of rebounds. All you can ask for is effort and how anyone can seriously say we gave effort (other than Dwight for the most part) is beyond me. What's your thought. I'm afraid if you quit once, you'll quit again.

 

Unlike the Clippers and Spurs, this Rockets squad is really easy to improve. Well, if they could just get their injured players Beverley and DMo back, it would be a totally different series.

 

It's really hard to pass judgment on a team when you're not the one playing the game, but Dwight said it himself, the Rockets didn't play hard. If you have to get up for a WCF do or die game you have issues.

One day a team will come back from 3-0 down. But I would max out my credit cards, mortgage my house, sell all of my possessions and withdraw every last cent in my bank accounts and bet it on GS to win this series. You aren't a legit contender if you continually lose PLAYOFF games by 20+ points.

We were duped people. The Clippers series win was absolute fool's gold.

Yeah, you nailed it. I don't understand why fans get upset when you tell it like it is...."you come home and you lay a giant egg"...that is the quote on ESPN just now. How can you argue that. I don't care for Wilbon but he is on the money...60-39 on rebounds. INEXCUSABLE.
"System wide failure" Wilbon says and it's happened 4 times. You just can't argue that unfortunately.

That stat was the one that dropped my jaw. You got outrebounded 60-39?! Are you freaking serious? The Warriors figured out that if you are able to get a couple of bodies on Dwight in the paint that none of the other big men on the Rockets has the will like he does to rebound. I mean, didn't Josh go reboundless in Game 2?

Kerr is just a very smart coach and has exploited every edge he can find. McHale doesn't even know where to begin looking for edges.

 

ESPN said and I can't disagree....with all the athletes Houston has (Ariza,Smith, Brewer etc) and get out rebounded by 21 is mind boggling.I mean unreal. The Warriors were determined to make a statement tonight and we didn't even put up any resistance. And,THAT'S inexcusable in my mind.

 

Including an offensive rebound where Curry boxed out Howard by sticking his butt in his knees like Calvin Murphy keeps trying to tell the Rockets to do.

 

I hear you but if he had shelf butt he shouldn't be able to get a rebound from Dwight..he did not once but twice. But hey, Dwight can't do it all by himself.
