We won 'luckily' only because GSW was tired. . . . . Yeah. We get it.
Making excuses for your Warriors are you?
NO ONE can beat them unless they are 'too tired'?

That's true. We've only won 2 out of 3 games with them this year.
There's NO WAY we can hang with these guys. After all, they ARE the Warriors.

What is with these GSW-fearing posters on here?
We have pretty much identical records (in spite of a long stretch of games without our starting cast intact)
We've beaten them 2 out of 3 games this year.

But we're STILL not 'as good'??
Do we have to run the table and be undefeated to prove we are on their level somehow?

WE ARE UNDEFEATED THIS YEAR (17-0) WHEN JAMES, CP AND CLINT ARE ALL HEALTHY AND IN THE LINEUP.
THAT INCLUDES GAMES AGAINST GSW.

I think we are THERE.

Yep according to @Le$$ Rockets:

1) won first game against GSW because ring ceremony hangover

2) lost 2nd meeting (no Harden/Luc by the way) because well.....that’s the natural order of things...the way things should be

3) won last night because Warriors were tired and disinterested.

Rockets don’t get credit because they can’t ever legitimately beat the Warriors....amiright?

 

Hope the rockets can go futher. Just saying. Tired or not Tired.

 

2017 and again in 2015 the Spurs won 2 of 3 meetings both seasons. Memphis is the only other team to beat Warriors at least 2 times in a season albeit in 4 tries since 2014-15 (the year they became almost unbeatable)

And also in 2015. Last year clearly Spurs weren't 100% without Kawhi. But in 2015 playoffs Spurs were eliminated by a tough Clippers in 7. So neither season did the Warriors have to face a team that won the season series in the playoffs.

 

I agree. I'm so sick and tired of hearing some supposed rocket fans leg humping the Warriors like they are some unbeatable Godly-being. F the Warriors. They ARE beatable and for those that say the Warriors will take it up a notch in the playoffs- so the *** will we. I only worry about things getting heated up and having the league unjustifiably suspend one of our players and also biased officiating in the Warriors favor.

In closing I'd like to say, *** the Warriors!

 

I think our defense is a major factor in our success, guys like Mbah, Tucker and Paul put a huge boost to our defense. Plus everyone else including harden to an extent has boosted up there defense and effort compared to the previous years.

And to think we didn’t even have Ariza or green.

But trade Anderson please, I hate to dump him because he actually is trying and got a few good rebounds and put backs but the guy isnt Contributing that much and feel we could get someone who fits much better

So is Ryno. As soon as we find the right replacement he's a gonner, and the same applies to Ariza. Morey even moved Beverley who provided more 'chemistry' than Ariza has ever have, you don't think Morey wouldn't pull the trigger on an aging, declining player if he can snatch a decent return? Lol, what an idiot.

 

He's actually trying and succeeding in many ways. I think he's using his size more down low by doing a decent job defending in the paint while securing critical rebounds like every other play. Anderson is phasing out his stretch 4 slim build and going full blown 4/5 with a 3 pt shot. I don't know what to think at this point. I know the odd man out is 'headcase' veteran Ariza because he couldn't have provided Anderson's play down low at all and Luc Mah Boute pretty much is a way better than Ariza at everything when healthy. I think Ariza would have be somehow packaged with Anderson in a deal and Morey is probably looking into it.

 

Exactly.
A couple of plays I see . . .that will definitely keep us good.
