He gets abused by the bigger centers on the board and in the block. Half the time he is guarding at the 3 pt line which doesn’t help his cause
My first statement was directed to the whole team...not House exclusively. House was just the last player to commit the TO. Finally, the Rockets had 13 TOs...the only reason they won with that many turnovers is the Suns had more TOs with 21. We can't play the elite teams in the league and win with 13 TOs. The Rockets need to reduce the TOs.
I could careless about the mvp race. I care about harden being a playmaker again . It’s like he was free tonight to be the main guy as the playmaker without Paul and he was throwing seriously good dimes. He could have had 20 assists tonight if his teammates didn’t brick so many shots
This also works the other way, you know. If the Rockets front office knew what was good for them, they would’ve swallowed their pride and converted his two-way deal much sooner.
he gets abused, but he too often gives up and worst of all he never boxes out, always depending on his athleticism to reach over players for rebounds instead but his head has not been in the game, fumbling passes and missing assignments game after game since the allstar break
They cant convert his deal sooner because they need to stay under Lux tax. As good as House is you cant justify paying repeater tax and missing out on lux tax payments from other teams just to have him on the team sooner.
Yeah he was getting boxed out by Klay the other night and tonight Holmes and Ayton were working him hard
Wait what? If we only give up the ball 13 times a game against anyone in the playoffs, I’ll take it right now.
TRUTH SERUM!!! Screw Tillman! Worrell is keeping it real AND he does NOT need this job. He is set in life, older and in a totally different spot in life compared to say Craig Ackerman!!!
In the playoffs, you need to keep your turnovers 10 or less to win championships...and you certainly don't have 5 or more in the fourth quarter like the Rockets did tonight.
For the minimum? Even if guaranteed? And now Morey's set it up so that, AIUI, any raise to House is going to have to come out of Next Year's MLE. You know, the same one the Rox are relying on to pay Faried and Rivers with, should they want more than the minimum + 20 percent. At least he's here this year. What'd he go tonight from 3? (I only got to stream the last four minutes or so.) 50 percent on 8 threes? And gave hustle, like he did to force Johnson to the foul line at the end, rather than watch him make a layup? Yeah, he's getting more than the minimum from somebody next year. And the Rockets can't hope to match with their limited rights. Ugh.
