we are more talented than the spurs. fact. that's what gives me confidence but experience counts almost as equally, if not more, in the playoffs.
no spurs player will average over 30 minutes per game for the season, the first time since the nba merger. pop is weird
He's a weird genius. Really, what can one say? All they do is win. Pop is obviously doing something right.
That's quite remarkable considering they finished with the best record in the league with games to spare.
Experience counts a whole lot in the playoffs, and that's the main reason a possible series against the Spurs cannot go to a pivotal game 7. They would be the prohibitive favorite in a game 7. Talente wise, despite the our bench woes, we can beat them just because we have two of the best players at their respective positions in Harden and Howard. Just not in a game 7 in San Antonio.
True, but I think McHale has his own weapons as well, which is the Viper boys. If he can figure out how and when to inject these boys into the game, it would be a BIG positive!
As someone pointed, if we do meet the Spurs, they have seen the Rockets team they will play in the playoffs. We have NOT seen the Spurs team we will play in the playoffs. But I think we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Fingers crossed we will get that far. Bring on the Blazers.
Why no new thread for the Pelicans game yet? Is Clutch resting too alongside Harden because of too many minutes this season?
