yeah I feel pretty good about this game.. The Rox are due for a breakout performance.. I think this becomes a statement game for the Rox and they show the league they are for real and what a duo of TMac and Yao can do. Boki lights up the Spurs for 2 points .. (only 2 because Yao/Tmac score the rest) hahaha I hope hes playing today. J
This Rockets team 140 points? Are you predicting 38 overtimes? Boki is on the IR for 2-3 more games I believe.
im pump up with we will rock you i'm looking the day to says happy 50 pts game to yao Let's go Rockets
Yao goes for 50 pts tonight. Tim Ducan also get 46 pts. This game becomes a classic battle for 2 great big men. Rox end up winning by 6 straight free throws by Yao and TMac down the stretch.
Rockets win if Yao sits the entire game and Mutombo gets to play. Rockets lose by 35pts if Yao plays. With out Yao: Hou-94 SA - 88 With Yao: Hou-62 SA 107
OK, I don't get to watch a lot of Rox games, this is in fact my first one in weeks. Question: Why is the Toyota Center so empty? Is there a lot of traffic or something?
Please tell me this is not normal If the Rox can't draw a crowd playing against the leading contender for the championship + in-state rival, something is wrong. It must be a traffic jam. I hope.
our team looks absolutely pathetic. Yao is basically a role player now. The team no longer looks for him nor does he have any confidence to finish plays. It looks like he has accepted defeat in being a superstar and looks to just go thru the motions.
It always happens for early games (7pm instead of 7:30)... even in the championship/sell-out years... Houston fans had a problem reading their tickets for the start time.
even my roommate just walked in and the first thing he mentioned was he couldn't believe how empty it is. what the hell is up with that. i know we're boring as hell and have a bad record (and this is houston we're talking about) but even by those standards it's pathetic. oh well, maybe it gets jvg out quicker.
Thanks Nick, that's good to know. I would still like to see more fans though. I saw more people at the last Clippers/Rox game at the Staples Center.
