His failure to do much against Dwight exposes his limitations. To be fair, he came from a weak French league. He hasn't worked hard on post footwork, that is why he ends up missing short jump hooks, and running straight into defenders. Kevin McHale liked him, but he was disappointed to see that Clint hadn't worked on offense during the off season.

He played well in this game though. I hope he will show more consistency against better defensive teams.

Fair enough. Consistency is definitely what would advance him to the next level.

That being said I wouldn’t consider “not doing much against Dwight” a failure. Dwight still has a monster body and will be tough for everyone in the post. If Clint can dominate him offensively, I don’t think we need to sit here and discuss him anymore. Instead we would be heavily favoured for a title year.

Plus with the brilliance of Paul and Harden, post footwork is the last we need on offense. The days of post success leading to title is over - look at how Dwight did this year and his team still a bottom feeder. We can’t expect everyone to be a complete package and I’m very happy with what Clint is right now.

I was disappointed with Harden, but I would love to see him having a big game. He is very much capable of that.

Apparently Clint Capela is questionable for tonight with a bruised left heel.

just like you, they expected harden to have a dominant and 35pt 10ast game. if you think they're idiots then so are you.

Rockets add Clint Capela (bruised left heel) to injury list as questionable vs. Bucks. Wonder if Nene might play -- was going to sit out 2nd half of back-to-back -- if Capela sits out.

Rockets rotation pretty short already with Mbah a Moute out, but they might like to start Anderson on Henson at center, rather than match up with Antetokounmpo.

Play Zhou Qi and Black. Is Troy Williams available? Rest Capela and Nene. Streak is nice but health is more important.

I wish we were playing the Jazz tonight and not the Bucks now that Gobert is out for a month. Oh well, if we can beat Milwaukee, rest Capela for the remainder of the homestand. The Rockets should be able to beat the Jazz(sans Gobert), the Lakers, and the Clippers(sans Griffin).

I just wanted to apologize for all my stupid posts yesterday. I was at a bar having one too many in preparation for the spurs game. I don’t even remember posting this nonsense. @Clutch my bad man. The site is great. I have no complaints.
