Agreed; especially when you consider more PNR's between Lin and Harden, as in Lin or Harden setting picks for each other, and then rolling; both of them can reset the play if it breaks down, and it's potentially an utter nightmare to defend.

The Sixers are one of those borderline bad teams, even with Holiday, but they're a young team. I don't know if they can fix their offense staying with this same group.

The Sixers have missed a dependable C for several years now like the Rockets had until they got Asik. It must suck hard for them to know they have a star level C stuck on the IR list.

That said, if the Rockets can keep on taking care of these kind of teams they're 6th seed easy.

    Eh...

OKC, LAC, Memphis, San Antonio are locks. Golden State is looking like a lock too. So that's already 5. Bubble teams: Denver, Minn, Houston, Utah, Dallas, Portland, Lakers.

Lakers will figure it out if Kobe has to drag them there all by himself. And the rest of the teams are preeeetty good.

The back-to-back roadtrips in January should reveal more.

All those bolded teams are more likely to get worse without a trade. They've got the talent, but they're so inconsistent, for one reason or another. I think Denver is a lost cause this season.

GS isn't a lock. Their point differential is barely better than ours. They will come down to earth eventually.

They were playing on a tough schedule but still managed a 17-9 record. It's not a fluke.

    Dear Houston Rockets,
This might be too much to ask but what I do want more than anything for Christmas is consecutive wins against Western Conference teams... Yes, I understand that you have a winning record against Eastern Conference teams but let's be real here. They suck!!!! They suck more than anything, even the Heat look mediocre compared to you guys. So please give me wins against Western Conference teams and I'll be a good boy,
    Thank you very much.

    Yours Truly,
    Jimmy.....

    Dear Jimmy,

In order to grand you wish as you are asking for, you have to do several things first. No hot chicks for next 6 month. Wear your Rockets underpants
    all the time.

    Your Truly
    Santa

Durant was invisible in the game

In other news, if the world ends on the 21st we won't see another Rockets game again :(
