I listened to First Take at http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=8758872, and I think SAS sort of changed his opinion on Lin (and now seems to say Lin is an above average NBA PG and has a quick first step). Actually, the way he discusses Lin here (alone with Skip Bayless), I have no big disagreement with him. Do I think Rockets would have the same record if Harden would not have joined Rockets? Probably not. Rockets probably would have worse record if Harden did not join Rockets. Do I wish I could have seen how Rockets would have done without Harden? Yes. Do I think Lin should play a more PG role than Harden who should play more of SG role? Yes.

Yes, what's up with the air balls? I can understand shooting an air ball when someone has a hand on your face, but how can you shoot an air ball when you are wide open? Seems like Lin depends too much on his leg lift to get the shot off. Other PGs do not appear to need all that much of a leg lift.

Lin's 3pt shot takes soooooo long. The ball is just floating in the air, too much anticipation.

I'm a big Lin fan, but I have feeling he will go back to being passive (as opposed to playing passive-aggressive or aggressive with intention) and have a subpar game again after another good game.

Following the Knicks game Lin now has a greater %time as the PNR ball handler than Harden does. Prior to the game they were both at 2.91%. Lin is now at 29.3% & Harden 28.2%. Lins PPP is now 0.8 (exactly what it was last season) & he is now ranked 41st in the NBA as the PNR ball handler. It will be interesting to see if the team continues on in the tenure they had in the Knicks game where Lin handled the ball a lot more than Harden. Or if that was just a one time thing because Lin was in NY.
