lol JLIII got blocked two times on one play...

and Vspan looked more confident as the game went on

Even if you're an NBA caliber player, you're not a robot who can sit for 20+ games then just suddenly come off the bench and be your 100%. It just doesn't work that way.

JVG's defense is just suffocating against bad teams, and average against good teams. But still I'm very amazed by the defense percentages.

Teen-Wolf made my day with that lay-up. Great game rocks!

Well, Rockets' frontoffice was willing to choose a scrub even below NBDL level?

V-Span's game is based on team's plays, i.e. passing, passing, pick n rolls and more passing.... With this group of players, especially JLIII who is all ME ME type of player, V-Span's strength is not fully showed!

    "Its garbage time..."
"Van Gundy Killed Kill Bill.." (which I can kinda see)...

exactly. u have to get into a rhythm but apparently no one gets that. we are scared to lose games and rightfully so. but then dont expect jvg to put those scrubs in cause they cant even keep a 40 pt lead against philly.

Well John Lucas III sat forever and came in and had good shooting games a few weeks ago. If he can do it Spanoulis can do it.

The amount of excuses made for Spanoulis has reached a ridiculous level.

V-Span and Yao are totally different, when rox picked Yao in 2002, rox planed to rebuild this team around Yao, so Yao had more mimutes.
Rox is not seriously in need of V-Span coz other players are doing very good, we are winning games, Span should be more patient, he will get his chances, JVG is not stupid.

After this game, JVG should use SPAN over JLIII. JLIII is a joke as PG.

Two consecutive blowout wins and a convincing win against the Spurs at home. This team is a well oiled machine, scoring from all over the court and our defense is unbelievable. Man, I can't wait for Yao to get back.

No.. confidence cant really be measured, but you could see he got more comfortable as time passed. And I don't understand your noone guarding him comment.

this was like 2 different games. the real game, 3 quarters, that we won, and the 4th quarter, that we lost. too funny.

one of the reason i'm cheering for vspan is because in the washington game, jvg puts in vspan with about 1-2 minutes left. he scores a 3, and makes a crazy layup at the buzzer. the crowd was pretty excited and so was i. i thought he would actualy be pretty decent. but hes not whether is because its jvg or because he just plain sux. i just don't know.

Honestly, VSpan did not do too good either. But VSpan MAY get another chance to prove himself. Hope he will cherish this opportunity.

that defense was just absolutely rowdy tonight.

    Highlight fo the night.......V-Span for 2 and 2 rebs....yeah....ROY

They could have easily held them under 60 points if they wanted to embarass them that way

I guess JVG played JL3 in order to get him involved in a future trade.
    Lets wait and see.
