ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 5/8/2019 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 5)

That skip pass to capela rolling to the basket is useless right now because Clint has no skill or Balls to put up a shot once he’s basically under the basket

 

Fellas it really looks like Clint is throwing this game

 

Warriors are begging the Rox to take this game. Rox have too many players playing subpar themselves though (Capela, Gordon, Paul, etc.)

 

Capela is learning that he has got to play up to the playoff level of basketball he needs to stay with it but Mike needs to get NENE in there when he gets a chance to play Looney with thew clear understanding that force the pick n roll pass to the roller by trapping the Pick n roll

 

Faried would grab those passes and slam it down at a fraction of cost.

Are Harden just saving energy for the 4th?

Rockets to need to close the gap in the 3rd!

 

You can't fault Harden with that. CC's man is trapping him, CC is the wide open player. If you want to make the argument that CC shouldn't be out there then fine I'm right there with you! Harden has no other option though. He's making the correct read every single freaking time.

 

Clint is within feet of the basket against guys 7 inches shorter than him and he is absolutely inept with the ball. Comical if it wasnt sad.

 

And that’s why I wanted Morey to pick up another big for playoff insurance. Instead he gets Shumpert and 2 Gleague point guards.

 

Kerr knows what’s happening. Will Mike realize it?

Warriors starters are dead tired.

 

Faried is our best rebounder. Yeah, his defense isn't great.... but at least he'll get you the boards and score you consistent points. Capela just looks scared against these good teams.

 

I still feel real good about where the Rockets are right now in this game

Clint with 13 rebounds about his only saving grace.

 

I'm starting to get very annoyed with Clint Capela. His head is not mentally in this game, and other than that one awesome block earlier in the series...he has been out to lunch all series long. I think it's time for Harden, CP3 or Tucker to get in Capela's face and tell him to wake the hell up. They've gotta be getting frustrated with him.

 

Clint they gave you 90 million and you celebrated with a new Rolls Royce ! So are you done now?
