I’ll say it again, if Durant is out this pretty much mirrors what happened to the Rockets and Chris Paul last year. Down 3-2 having to win a home and home.

This series is still there for the taking. This is where championships are won. Dig deep and show why you’re worthy of winning it all. Game 5 is over and it just doesn’t matter anymore. Put your big boy pants on and get it done.

I didn't feel good about this game even after KD went out.

And our inability to beat them without KD reminded me of when we lost to the Spurs even after Kawhi got hurt. And the game after that, well, it was not pretty.

Uh no, that team had way more depth. No Barnes, half a bogut, no ezili, no barbosa, Livingston doesn’t seems as good. Etc..

And? They still have the splash brothers, Draymond, and Iggy. And we're still the team that lost the 4th quarter without KD and have players who are prone to going on massive slumps. I think we should be favored to win but I would not be surprised one bit if we choke this game away.

The Durant injury gave the Warriors a spark, especially for Curry.

Ironically, the Rockets may have pulled that game off if he didn't get hurt.

And this is what we paid the big bucks for?

Isn’t this the kind of game we expected CP3 to show up for?

    48 minutes!!!!!!!

"Such sportsmanship from Harden for being with KD in disappearing in the 4th quarter. Real friend right there."

They were trapping him every time he got the ball and preventing him from getting the ball when he didn’t have it. GSW forced others to beat em.

Losing KD IMO is gonna be addition by subtraction for GSW. This allows Curry to handle the ball more And able to get into more of a rhythm, they set up more of a motion offense which gets Klay more/better looks, and less high-post and one on one.

As soon as KD went out, their offense moved the ball quicker, they seemed to hustle more and their defense got better without KD.

Hope Rockets can adjust quickly. Need more Nene - strong hands and can actually finish around the rim. CC needs to join House on the bench.

I think a good strategy next time will be to not spot the Warriors a 20 point lead. They might just have a shot if they do that. I wasn't able to see the second half but what I saw in the first was a team that simply didn't want it badly enough. For all the chatter about how beaten down and physically overpowered the Warriors were, the Warriors came out playing like they were in fast-forward while the Rockets had their feet stuck in cement. They weren't ready to win and blowing golden opportunities has sort of been the consistent theme of the entire season.

Rockets still couldn't figure out how to play closing minutes... turnovers after turnovers and missed shots.

i'm really scared Durant injury unleashes the demons in Curry and Klay, and they shoot us out of the playoffs
