ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 5/20/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 3)

That’s my ONLY concern going into game 3. Rockets just haven’t done well off of a long layoff......conversely they’ve been a great 3 games in 4 nights or back to back team.

Hopefully the Rockets can break the trend tonight.

I think they start Looney to help curry on blow bys that the rim. I just hope Houston is smart n participate this by starting the small wall on it I just think that's the way to beat these guys. Then if Looney helps wide open 3s

Klay’s points in our 3 wins: 16, 8, and 8

Klay’s points in our 2 losses: 28, and 28

 

pretty much my theory on how you can beat GSW in a 7 game series.

If Klay plays bad then they can't beat you.

 

Big move to - 8....who are the refs ?

 

Excepting MAD warriors...will we be ready? Hope game 2 was not just an illusion and hope we will come out STRONG

I'm both extremely confident and extremely afraid. All the best and worst case scenarios running through my head.

 

I think KLAY is a good barometer if we're playing good defense or not. He can be controlled offensively unlike Durant.

 

I think Klay and Curry can be controlled to an extent.

Its all about limiting their 3 point attempts.

Klay isn't the best finisher in the paint either.

Keep it up. Zach Lowe had a great piece mirroring what I have been saying all year about out defense.

Our defense makes teams play iso ball. And the Rockets are better at Iso Ball.

 

It's like the warning before playing Forza Horizon that some of the driving in this game may potentially be dangerous in real life. Some of the driving? How about ALL of the driving. This game comes with a health warning, And Golden State is not going to make it our alive.

 

Durant can be stopped as well its just that we didnt find the solution nor we need to...

 

3-1 when harden plays

 

You have to leave Durant alone.

Takes that whole GSW team out of rhythm when Durant is just shooting away.

If GSW adjust they are just going to take tougher shots than what GSW had in game 1 or 2.

Hoping we can start media monday off with a 2-1 Rockets advantage.

 

That's the simple reason, you don't let Klay score with Curry/KD.

Yeah, not liking that at all. Money is on the Warriors to bounce back big time tonight. It's not a gimmie, but smart gamblers always follow the money. I'm still holding out hope we can win games 4,5, and 7. We just need to split the next 2 to take back home court. We lose these next 2 and that should just about do it being down 1-3 IMO.
