ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 5/19/2015 (Western Conference Finals, Game 1)

Hey, we made it this far, this season is already a success for us so we're playing lose. The Warriors have something to prove and are rested, but that has not been proven to serve teams well. We're riding high so I truly believe we can steal one but I think it's going be Game 2 rather than Game 1.

That would be ideal (well, winning both would be ideal, but highly unlikely). The Clippers came into our building and stole game one, against the odds. How about we steal game one at Golden State?

 

Dwight dominates with a 20 and 20 game. Harden for 30 and 10 assists. We grind it and win by 5.

 

Let's get this sweep over with so we can win in 7 games against Cleveland.

Win game 1 or we can win game 2?. Then protect home court. The warriors strike no fear in Rockets.

People tend to forget we have 2 Superstars playing well and also a lot of help. And they still think they can sweep us. LMAO. They will win some games but we will the championship.

Do we think that Nick Johnson and K-Pap finally see significant minutes in this series? It's going to be up and down and we need guys who can play great defense in spurts.

 

Here's the thing: We get to be loose b/c everyone expects us to go out and get dominated. They on the other hand will be thoroughly embarrassed if they get bounced by HOU. Rockets have already beaten their narrative. No one thought they would make it this far. Now they just need to go out there, have fun, and leave it all on the court.

IMO this Game 1 is probably our best chance to win in GS. The Warriors have been off a little long, similar to Rockets after beating DAL, and the Rockets are coming off a Game 7 win with only one game off before next round, similar to LAC beating SA.

It'll be very interesting to see if McHale continues to start Josh Smith. I think he will, since it worked against Blake Griffin, it should work against Draymond Green.

Great win last night, but GSW are the BEST TEAM IN THE NBA. Have to play physical with their Guards and Bigs. They are better at what the Rockets want to be, in contrast with the 3 point shot. Do not leave them wide open!!! Foul them hard!! #Rockets #Pursuit

 

Doesn't McDaniels play legit D? Having him ready to go against this guard heavy team would be nice.
