Talent wise we had no business winning this game. We played harder and had a great game plan. Doubled and left Bell and Green to brick shots. The Warriors still just blow my mind. If you give Curry or Thompson an inch they drain their shot. The Rockets were in their face constantly to prevent it. In 30 years of watching the NBA I’ve never seen a pair of shooters that feared and rightly so. And then you have Durant lol. Point is that was game 7 playoff intensity that you’re not going to get night in night out. Hardens brilliance you do get every night.

One could argue that you give Harden a few more games off so he will be more rested for the playoffs and the rest of the Rockets will be sharper, too.

Seems like an unexpected effect of the Warriors having Cousins is that it means Nene can actually play these guys a little bit. Even if the Rockets didn't win, I would have been impressed by their effort, so actually getting the win is so much better.

Not sure if the rockets can rely on faried shooting 3’s at this percentage, but the rockets are at the very least a competent rebounding team with him starting with capela.

Plus he’s much better at putting the ball on the floor and finishing at the rim than pj.

    The starting lineup should be

    Cp3
    Harden
    PJ
    Faried
    Capela

From here on out. We have no other choice.

No more players playing out of position. No more Eric Gordon at SF or PJ at PF.

Harden will always play that way. Always has, and now dribble dribble ISO more than ever. Its a whole diff dynamic with him in. Its the Harden show. Our guys were so much fun to watch tonight. Everybody played their hearts out. Great defense. That was my favorite game this year.

    So!....

Paul needs to mainly handle the ball.
Faired needs to start alongside Cap and PJ.

    :D

I assume you are referring to Hardens 3s?

We shot 37.2 from 3 tonight

Harden overall is 37.1 and better than that on his stepbacks.

It was a great win. Played great defense and the other guys really stepped up. No need to manufacture any other reason than that for a huge win without our MVP.

They are better DEFENSIVELY without Harden, but not better overall.
