"SAN FRANCISCO -- A lot has happened since Bay Area native Jeremy Lin last played at Oracle Arena nearly 14 months ago.

But when his Houston Rockets visit the Warriors on Tuesday, Lin will have proved the most important thing: He belongs."

"Linsanity, man," Warriors point guard Stephen Curry said. "That's going down in history as the most unbelievable thing ever. It wasn't overrated at all. You give credit where credit is due. He's pretty good."

That means a lot considering it's Curry and he has known and practiced with Lin during Lin's GSW days.

If the Rockets bring it tonight this game could be epic.

Sweet find. This was the best part particularly the second half of the first sentence.

Unlike in New York, where the offense seemed to revolve around Lin's pick-and-roll abilities, Houston is challenging him to be a better point guard. The Rockets like to play at a fast pace and shoot a ton of 3-pointers, which the Warriors learned the hard way in their first matchup, a 140-109 loss last week. Lin still gets to run the pick-and-roll, but he also has to play off the ball and get his teammates going.

While trimming the athletic tape off his ankles after Monday's practice at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Lin said he expects the emotions to come flooding back once he gets into Oracle Arena.

His mother has taken the brunt of responsibilities in what Lin called "easily my busiest game of year in terms of outside stuff." She set up a luxury box for about 20 close friends and family, some courtside seats have been reserved, and his former coaches have been given spots right behind the Rockets' bench.

Lin was the butt of locker-room jokes and the mark of every practice challenge his rookie season. Even today, even after averaging 25 points on 50.9 percent shooting and 9.2 assists during the Linsanity weeks, Lin said he's treated the same way by some of his old Golden State teammates.

J-LIN going to make Curry look like the back up again tonight. J-Lin going to tear it up tonight in front of his home crowd. A lot of asians in the bay area are warrior fans who believe J-lin was a marketing ploy when they first sign him. There was no way to know J-Lin was going to be good with monte, curry, and c thompson taking all the minutes and shots at guard ahead of J-lin. keith smart let j-lin go and rot on the bench. mark jackson could of save j-lin job with the warriors. instead he let the asian guy go because no one was going to miss the asian point with garbage minutes. Its "hand down man down" part 2. I hope black amish knee is right. This is going to be fun. Two up and coming young teams in the west.

Harden shouldn't play for long minutes tonight. Knee injuries are no joke. Better get it completely healed than miss the rest of season by agitating it.

Yeah, didn't hear any news about him getting x-rays or MRI's so its just probably a simple case of bumping knees and getting a slight bruise. Just a scratch, no biggie. ;)

How come LeBron never gets injured? It's just amazing considering his heavy minutes his role on his team and his age. I think LeBron should give class to all NBA players on how to keep healthy. At least, Harden should seek advice from him. :p
