Yep, I never understood how people can be fans of two teams, especially in the same conference...

Even though the guy that was a Kings/Rockets fan that used to post here was a great poster.

You are on target as usual. There is a long standing dysfuncionality (if that is a word?) about the Rockets. They really struggle at long term planning. Basically, CD was a "basketball guy" but not a very good "business guy." Morey is the opposite. Now, it is like what is fundamentally wrong with management is repeated over and over with increasing frequency. Something like losing at the lottery and buying more and more tickets.

Draymond can make plays. His emergence as a playmaker is part of what has made this such a breakout season for him.

The difference between "tweaking" and "overhauling." SA tweaks; Rockets play "fruit basket turnover." Continuity vs chaos. Look at the SA team for the last decade, then look at the Rockets. No comparison. This year's Rockets have only two starters from last year and a completely different bench.

The difference between Bogut and Howard right now is very small. And that is a problem for Houston as Howard is supposed to offer a big advantage.

That leaves James Harden out-gunned 2 to 1 with Curry/Thompson. Give Harden a running mate like Lawson/Dragic etc and things even up.

Aside from personnel, the turnovers are just killing the Rockets. A team like Golden State is already great offensively. They don't need any help scoring. Yet the Rockets do just that with all of their turnovers leading to easy fast breaks for GS.

And most of the Rocket's turnovers are the preventable kind: lazy passes, lack of focus, poor judgement. Fundamentals.

Yup, GS is a regular season team.

People who rave about them don't get basketball. Unfortunately on this board, some people think having thousands and thousands of posts means they know a thing or two. Hilarious that Mchale's incompetency is being overlooked here.

Has any team gone through as many players as we have in Morey's tenure? Not saying its a good or bad thing but every year its a team overhaul and completely new team.

Perhaps, but none come to mind. The constant turnover is annoying and largely unproductive.

I swear you can always count on dwight for one of these type of plays each game.

1.) Get ball in post and lose the ball from defender swiping at it
2.) Hook shot that nearly misses the entire rim
3.) Baseline Spin move but steps out of bounds
4.) Gets blocked going up for a dunk
5.) Has a foul called against him and just has to walk away with a smile

    He's becoming very dependable

Along with that, Ariza has become Mr. Dependable too. Can always count on him for these.

1.) Passes up a good look, allows defender to get back in his face, throw up a 3 pointer fading away and bricking it.
2.) Gets the ball when Harden doesn't have a play, tries to drive to the basket and gets blocked or misses an ugly lay up attempt
    3.) Bricks from 3

Okay guys, the other reason I'm frustrated is my wife is a Spurs fan... I have been talking **** for the last 10+ years we've been married and the ****ing Rockets have let me down repeatedly. She liked them before they were good, so not a bandwagon or something, but damn it gets tiring when I talk these guys up preseason, then the season, then the ****ing first round exit... While the Spurs probably win another ring... :(
