We're learning how valuable Juwan Howard is to this team. He had 13 points and 14 boards (9 offensive) the last time in Minnesota. He can hit the 14-18 footer and keep defenses honest. You don't get that with Spoon at all while Padgett gives you the shooting and nothing else.

The offense was real flat in that first quarter ... McGrady 1-7 shooting. Big concern right now.

T-mac is in ice age, he's gonna ruin this game.

we are getting our asses whipped in every facet of the game right now

this is almost disturbing .......Minny is playing for their lives and the Rockets look like they are mailing it in and waiting for the playoffs to start

One overlooked facet... since we've been playing with success with this set offense for quite some time now, you know that teams have started to game-plan against us w/ all the film they've accrued from the games where our offense was working at its best.

Especially with teams we've seen twice... (like Minnesota)... they'll all have a chance to adjust to our offense now that they've seen it already.

Forget 3's, it's gonna be the same as on Friday, if we still focus on perimeter, we'll certainly have a lose.

Someone needs to start a fight with T-Mac every night, so he would be angry enought to attack the basket.

Hopefully, TMac wakes up after his little scuffle with Sam

It's not how great Howard is, it's we don't even have a semi decent backup PF. Yao has Deke, Tmac has a bunch guys can back him up, but not Howard.

its about execution and the team isn't doing it right now. missing open jumpers, very little ball movement, and terrible rebounding.

    Techinically, you're right on.

Minnesota is not in the playoffs, and they need to start winning NOW.

The Rockets have pretty much assured themselves of a spot, either 5, 6, or 7... and are trying to find something to prove against a team that has a lesser record than them.

Teams like Minnesota, Boston, Denver, Memphis, and Cleveland... are teams that have worse records than us, but still have the talent to beat us. Since we don't "fear" them... I feel like we don't play with that "edge" that we have in games we play the better teams.

Thus, these games actually scare me the most.

The refs handled it well. T-Mac shouldn't have gotten into it with Cassell. He needs to focus and attack the basket. His shots will go down if he can get some baskets from the free throw line first.

Yeah I thought we would have won last game against Celtics if we had Howard.

Juwan gets rebounds, plays defense, makes open shots. He would have helped a lot against Antoine Walker and Mark BLount..and our offense too.

Tonight's game of course againts Garnett..right now their perimeter guys are making shots.

    Tmac and Sam haha

    Anyways I hope we win.

It's good that Yao is back but I didn't realize until now that T-Mac has what seems like a leg brace which might be slowing him down some.

Can we just clone 4 Jon Barry's? He is by FAR the best passer to Yao we've ever had.

Yao needs to be much more aggressive on the offensive end and working on the boards.

Good thing that Yao is eating Eddie alive now, hopefully that will get the team going.

It has been tough the past 2 games, but at least we can see that Yao can be dominant when he is aggressive.
